NickGioia Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 My 2020 production Franchi Affinity 3.5 receiver has 4 tapped holes with metal factory plugs inserted. On all of the newer Franchi’s Affinities I have looked at, mine included, the plugs sit slightly proud of the receiver and there is no way to adjust them (top or within the receiver) much less remove them unless I drill and tap the plugs and then unscrew them. My Benelli’s all have plastic plugs. Hopefully someone can offer some advice on how I can adjust and/or remove the plugs? Am I missing something? Quote
remarkable Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Franchi Affinity 3 used PVC plugs in the receiver which is taped as you mentioned. You can remove the trigger group from you gun and use a good quality punch in the proper size and drive them from the inside of the receiver - out. Quote
RJHUB Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 My sons 3.5 also were pvc/plastic and we did exactly what remarkable suggested. I popped out with a small punch. Quote
