Roufus
The oem choke has 3 notches and no other markings. I plan on doing clays as well as s/d. Question is, do I need a different choke for each? For s/d #4 buck @ 1 3/4 oz (so I don't accidently shoot the neighbors through our sheetrock walls and 1 oz. slugs cycle fine It seems difficult to find 1 1/8th oz 7.5 shot. I tried 3/4 oz and it wouldn't cycle will the readily available 1 oz #7.5 reliably cycle my M4? Spent some quality time today cycling by hand 1000 times after disassembling and lubing. Learned that an aftermarket thingie to make this chore more comfortable will be an asset. OUCH! Will the action loosen up and accept lighter loads in time? Thanks for your help and patience. jimbo45
That's a modified choke and it should be fine for clays as should the 1 oz load though I use 1 1/8th oz. I typically use a modified choke or improved cylinder for clays.
