I ordered a Montefeltro from a retailer online and the wood stock was damaged during shipping to my FFL. I plan on calling the retailer tomorrow and ask for a replacement stock. What are my options if the retailer denies responsibility? Would Benelli be able to help?

I had a WW2 trenchgun trashed by UPS several years ago. The corner of the box was squished some, but couldn't see the damage till the box was opened. Too late by then.

The package was also insured by the sender, but........................The UPS investigation of "themselves", determined no fault on their part.

They might take care of it for you, but I wouldn't have accepted it if it was damaged.

This... Upon examining it prior to the transfer it should have been noticed and the seller should have been contacted then. You certainly should contact the seller and see if he will help. If you're told no I think you're stuck.

I would contact your online dealer and have them call Benelli and open up a RMA request, they will have the serial number of the gun and all of your particulars as well.

Please PM me if you would like, I am in a leadership role for a very large Benelli Dealer.
