gowest
I've just purchase a SBE II. Is there anything special I should know about breaking it in? shooting for the first time? type of oil to use? Can't wait to shoot it.
The_Gun_Guy
With recoil operated shotguns it works well to break them in by for the first 3 times you use it use high brass in between regular rounds this will keep the spring working for normal and powerful rounds. just use regular oil for the range and use oil with weather guard for the field and if you want to get real specific read the mantainence section of the manual. GIG
I bought my Lefty SBE 2 A month or so ago and it's met all of my expectations so far. I've only shot at some clay pigeons using many different shot sizes and some turkey shot on the pattern board. I can't wait to actually go duck and goose hunting with it. mudhen
No problems with mine so far. Best turkey choke for me is the Rhino .660 + Winchester Extended #6's. 2nd best, not even really close, was a Kicks .660 and Winchester HV #6's. Light oil on the contact points is all I do. mudhen - CA
