Gregg A
I have a lupo, and it has developed a brown haze inside of the chamber that does not appear to be rust after 30 or so shots and cleaning. It does not come off. Any ideas? Gregg
M2_shootr
How did you clean? could be oil residue that has baked in the chamber. Use a good solvent and chamber brush
Gregg A
It has about 35 40 rounds through it. I cleaned with bore cleaner then regular gun cleaner ( Birchwood ). Then i gave it a oiling. It actually took a few months of storage for this to develop. It appears to be in the metal, like it has discolored. It looks like it is only where the bolt is and where there may have been gases coming outby the bolt release. It does not come off even with 4/0 steel wool with oil. Gregg A
I have contacted them, no reply as of yet
Benelli Guy
That is definitely something Benelli would want to take a look at. Did you try to contact them at 800 264-4962, extension 2? I had an issue and was able to get through to them fairly easily.
