Steve Rose Posted January 4 Share Posted January 4 One of 2 things: The screw may have been loctited and will require some heat to loosen. Use a solder iron, or nail heated red hot and held with vice grips, to warm the screw which will soften the Loctite. (this is the most likely scenario) If the bolt release stud has broken loose from the latch and is turning/spinning when your try to turn the screw you will need to get some thin long nose pliers between the button and side of the receiver to hold hold the stud while you unscrew it (and then plan to replace the shell latch) 1 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
