Ty17 Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Hi everyone, been a long time reader and lurker but just made an account. Have 6 Benellis now and have had more in the past. I’m a lefty and it seems that Benelli is moving away from making left handed shotguns. Luckily I already have some but it’s a little disappointing to see them leaving that market. They only make the SBE3 in a 28” barrel in black and Realtree now. Do you think they are just revamping the lineup or are they moving to all righty guns? Quote
remarkable Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 The only change in the left handed lineup is the missing M2 and Montefeltro which will be coming in the future, this is because of the restyling and updates to both models. In the future you MAY see a Ethos in left handed version as well. In general the left handed shotgun market is a growing segement. Franchi has a left handed Affinity 3 in 12 gauge and 20 gauge. The edition of camo version set to release this year was pushed back. 3 Quote
Ty17 Posted June 25, 2024 Author Posted June 25, 2024 That makes sense. They also removes the lefty 828U so I was worried they were just nixing them all. I hope they add a lefty 28ga SBE 3. Quote
remarkable Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Left handed 828U's are still available as well. There is new Old Style M2's & Montefeltro's still available as well. The 26" Left Handed Black SBE 3 has been discontinued. Quote
Pef Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 I am new to the sport; and tried a few shotguns, but loved. I mean loved. The benelli. I want a left handed gun - the ethos. It looks great and is smooth. How do I go about finding either a new or used one? Quote

You’ll have to find a used M2, SBE2, or Montefeltro or get a new SBE3. Quote
