Benelli M4 light setup

what are your guys best choices for light setups on your m4, I just got a new entry model and I am deciding on what to do with it. I am leaning towards selling their new handguard rail, and either going oem stippled with the IWC scout / sling mount or MI mlok rail.

pretty much looking at surefire turbos and modlite

what do you guys think of the Modlite OKW-PDW350 on an entry? out front

i was also debating on Modlite PLHv2 18350, short vs long body on the iwc scout mount

4 1/8 inch length vs 5 3/8 inch length

1 1/4" difference

would the longer body be too close to the barrel?, the shorter looks like it goes just shy of the sight post and tube cap in a pic I saw on here from another user

My setup is on IWC mount, I went with Olight Odin Mini, which is excellent. Small, light, withstands recoil just fine. Comes with magnetically attached and quick snap pad switch if you will ever want to use it and very reasonably priced.

UPDATE:  this short light is plenty bright for its intended use, but there is quite a bit of splash om the barrel.  The upside is that the front sight is wonderfully illuminated!  A longer light body would mitigate the splash, but the extra ounces may be a deal breaker.
