Is this wear under the ejector on the m4 normal? I don't seem to have any major issues, the bolt rides smooth probably because it's worn in, I have about 1000 rounds on it. But I do have the occasional failure to eject on the last round, so I wonder in my bolt position is slightly out of spec.

I think that might be it. Thanks so much! Looks like the screw that is supposed to be second to the rear is slightly shorter and flatter on the bottom than the rest, never would of thought one out of the five was slightly different.

Those OEM screws are all the same

They were oem, one of them was shorter by a little bit, I dont know if the do some hand fitting? The screw protrusion seems most important to that second to last hole though l, all the others have much more clearance, I probably over tightened them as well before.

Yup easy to tighten past the end, and into the receiver. It’s a known issue.
