Chokes

I am thinking about getting a choke for my M3, but am worried about what will happen when I fire slugs through it. Does anyone have a brand that they recommend that will shoot slugs and buckshot reliably?

I have a M3 Barrell that is already done with chokes..It's the short barrell...I'll have to measure it..I believe it's 19.75"..Factory length.....It's an extra barrel..& I might be coerced into selling it...it also has the ghost ring front site with protective wings..I can send ya a pic of it if ya like.

 

I'll add that Yes..you can shoot slugs or anythiung else ya wanna shott thru it with chokes added to your own barrel ...Mine has no probs at all...I shoot slugs & buckshot thru my 26"...I just wouldn't use slugs in anything smaller than a modified...Buckshot is fine with any of the chokes..

Thanks, I talked to my cousin and he agreed to give me an extra turkey choke from his M3.

I thought you weren't supposed to use slugs through anything tighter than Improved Cylinder?

I sure as heck wouldn't want to push them through a turkey choke.

It actual;ly depends on what kind or style slug you are using...they make what is called sorta like a sabot..that has the sleeve..that will shoot in a restricted barrel...I wouldn't shoot a solid slug thru a restricted barrel..

does anyone know if you can fit any type of extended ported chokes in a condor supreme. was looking at invector but could only find full trap and i would like more options for sporting clays etc.thanx have fun shooting. bretzky.

nothing tighter than a IC or a cylinder choke or you will destroy your barrel...NO TURKEY chokes or you are a Turkey....
