He says that all the, as he says, the things in the stock are gimmicks? He shoots a Nova. I'm keeping out of this debate but want to show him via others that there is a big difference? Up to you now! tucker301 Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Comfortech stock (arguably a gimmick) Airtouch grips (better than original) Stainless steel recoil assembly (SBE 1 would rust) Crio treated barrels (maybe?) Extended choke tubes (meh) Bottom line: If you can get a new to excellent SBE1 and save $400-$500 then do so, replace the recoil assy. when it craps out and keep on shooting. Quote
OldFlick Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 The bore of a SBE II is about .010" bigger and uses different chokes than SBE I. Can make a big difference in buckshot performance. Quote
