topcover
Hello Everyone, Surefire just passed along the info that the four-rail forend for the M4 is under production (metal is being cut). It will have the same previous part number of M80. It should be available through their Web site in four to six weeks. Now where does that put the US-made part count? -x

topcover
Surefire didn't have an image to release yet. M80 cost is $215.00 -x
hkusp40
Spoke to customer service last week. Rails will be ready to ship in 4-6 weeks. They are taking orders. I backorder mine. They will not charge your credit card until they ship. Get in line they will go fast. Good luck.
Super M4
Someone needs to get them to make a dedicated weapon light, like the one for the Benelli M1 instead of a rail.
mau
Has anyone seen the surefire fore end for the M4 or know if it is available? Also, is it made in the USA or is it imported?
Newaza
A dedicated light would be great. I wonder why Surefire is dragging its feet on this? I'd wager it would sell like crazy.
unclebuck
I suspect that it has to do with the fact that the M4 uses the 2-piece forearm. I should think that this would make it difficult to produce an integrated M1-style dedicated forearm. Wish they could figure it out, though. I did speak to a Surefire rep at the NRA convention who said they "would have something out soon" so I suppose he was talking about this 4-rail forearm.
