juneau_AK
I intend to purchase a Supernova (my first conversion to Benelli). I live in a rainforest, so weather-toughness is an important factor in this gun. I predict this gun will be rained on at least 80% of the time I carry it. Any feedback on the durability of the barrels? From the website and DVD, I can't tell much about the differences of the barrels between the synthetic and the camo models--besides the colors obviously. Thanks for any advice. sonyman74
Well, I have the black and I get it wet most of the time b/c of the water I travel through to get to my hunting spot. As long as I clean it and wipe it down with a silicon rag afterwards I have not had the first bit of rust on any of my Nova's/Super Nova's. Drundel
Its not the best bluing there is, but I found that with my old Nova, if i always kept barrel with a good coat of Corrosion-X it was pretty rust free. If you are really worried about it, you can get it Teflon coated.
