Winchester Expert Shells

Anyone else having trouble using Expert shells? They are real inconsistent in my SBE II but the only loads I've had jams on, which have been several with a clean gun even. Mostly 3" #3's and 1's. Went to DryLocks and had no problems. Just curious if anyone else has had problems?

I shot them all year and had some problems but really couldnt blame it on the shells. Stoeger M2000 didnt like to cycle much of anything.

They were flawless last year with my M2000....I don't mind shooting better shells but I bought a bunch on sale last winter.....

I have shot a few boxes of them over the years and really don't like them. I have never really shot well with them. I shoot best with fast steel or federal premiums...

I love them, I used 3-1/2" Xpert HV, Drylocks and Supremes. The Xperts cycled fine, and killed fine, and they were only like $10 a box last year. Drylocks were great but very dirty, I thought I was shooting burnt newspaper out of my gun. Supremes were the best, but $15 a box for 3".

One of the hunters we hunt with bought some last year. We cut one open and found that the shot size varied widely, some of the shot were mis-shapped and they stuck to the steel knife blade, showing some type of magnetic charge.

 

I didn’t change, stuck with Kent Faststeel and Black Clouds this year.
