Team Benelli Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Now the M1 is only 3 in and no comfort tech and is the most basic model benelli offers. The M2 is only 3 in but it has the comfort tech. The SBE1 is 3 1/2 but there is no comfort tech. The SBE 2 is the big daddy of them all and comes completely equipped with everything. Is it worth it to keep spending more money to get the best of the best? Quote
tucker301 Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 The different models are made to suit different needs and wants. Buy the model which best suits your needs and wants... whenever you figure out what they are. Quote

crazyhair Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Im in the same boat and I'm looking at the M2 to get the both of best worlds benelli, and comfortech.. the sbe2 is the same gun in 3.5 shell, and I don't need 3.5 shell, even for goose Quote
heavy4x4 Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 If you want the best bang for your buck and a very versatile gun, go out right now to all the dealers in your area and look for SBE I's. That's what I did. Since Benelli is "discontinuing" them in favor of the SBE II non-comfortech, you should be able to pick one up on clearance. I got mine last week for $1002 w/tax from Gander Mountain. The non-clearance price was $1139. Happy hunting/shooting. -Steve [ 02-25-2005, 06:52 AM: Message edited by: heavy4x4 ] Quote
benellim2 Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 I just traded my M1 12-26" to a M2 12-21". The new comfortech stock is nice, best trade I have made in a long while. Quote
