silent1pro
hey all, i just bought a bennelli nova pump and i can say that it is truly an awsome weapon. i am new to shotguns, and i live in florida and im not sure of the laws. my main use for the nova is trap/skeet and i was wondering weather or not its legal to take the plug out so i could hold 5 shells, if im just useing the gun at the range...? if anyone could let me know that would be awsome... thanks, max
Teufel-hunden
Check out this link fro florida specific laws: http://www.atf.treas.gov/firearms/statelaws/26thedition/florida.pdf And this on for federal: http://www.nraila.org/GunLaws/Federal/Read.aspx?id=59 Try not to go cross-eyed reading this stuff! HOGWILD
as long as the range master has no issues with it why would you worry? depends on range rules i would think, and my range could care less as long as ya keep it pointed down range and do not bust off too many at one time! on the skkeet range they only allow 2 shells same as trap range only 2 in gun at any one time!! ABQ rules? plugs are there for hunting rules!
Teufel-hunden
Mind numbing? Yes indeed, but if you really want a migraine you should try reading some of the tax code. If I was elected president (god help us!) the first thing I would do is first get rid of the income tax as we know it today- think flat tax based on income or maybe a sales tax. This would in effect greatly simplify tax law. The second thing would be to bring down the hammer on the DOJ to do away with outdated federal laws, re-write the ones that are left in plain English, and most importantly JUSTIFY the laws in effect. And then I would halt all state allotted money coming out of DC until all the states did the same. For example, can anyone tell me how the whole 922r subject serves the common good/safety? The only reason I can figure that it even exists is- A: the ATF is over stepping their authority and grabbing power B: there is some shady back-room lobbying going on (trace the money, the money will lead you to the truth) For the sake of argument let's say I want to install a "banned" stock on my gun- if it is illegal to put an imported one on there, how in the world can it be legal to put on an American made one?!!!!! Did anybody with common sense and knowledge of tactics/guns (an absolute requirement for writing gun laws, period) write this? The rattiest, oldest, most un-threating 870 will kill you just as dead as the latest state of the art tactical weapon (and just as quickly in the right, or maybe the wrong, hands). AS WELL AS a motor vehicles, knifes, baseball bats, the list goes on and on. PEOPLE should be blamed for their actions, not the tools they use to do harm. This makes no sense, is unethical, and is above all is unconstitutional. The constitution is pretty clearly written if you take the time to read it- unlike a lot of our current laws that are someone’s efforts to twist the system to line up with their "I know better than you" views. Vote for the "Dawg" in '08! Who's with me? Semper Fi "As far as Billary and the Brady bunch...... they are mentally ill and should be pitied and placed in an institution for the proper treatment." Teufel-hunden
here here.... i love forum rants.... Thank god they have not found a way to take away our freedom of speech! And I have to vent somehow, moving out of the US is not an option- as screwed up as it is some aspects- we, the "US by-god of A" still have the best thing going. No offense to you guys overseas- I love Italy, Austraila, Ireland, the list goes on...... it 's just that you guys are way to socialist for someone that wants to walk the streets as a free man. HOGWILD
If she gets elected i am selling everything and moving back to the "PI" and find me another LBFM:p
Teufel-hunden
Don't get me started on LBFMs! Sigh....... those were the days (and nights!) Do ya think the forum fun police have any idea what a LBFM is? How 'bout you M1014? Any idea? Anyway I am going to stay and function as an agent provocateur to fight the rise of communism from the inside! ..... The PI would be tempting though. He and my mom were at the "punt bama, punt game". They got tickets from a friend on the 45 about 20 rows up....... on the Bama side! They almost got mobbed when they started yelling when Auburn made their stunning comeback. So you are retired airforce- do you know a retired AF EOD tech named "Blue" from arkansas?
