FIB
I have a SBE2 w/the camo finish and was wondering how you "clean" it. Do you use soap & water or do you wipe it down w/ an oily rag??? Thanks in advance...Randy
tucker301
Use a damp cloth. If need be, use a mild detergent and then wipe again with a damp cloth. No solvents. No oils.

mudhen
I was just thinking about that the other day as I was sitting in the turkey woods. The camo finish on my SBE II seems to be holding up pretty well after about four seasons. A few chips here and there. A little DEET bug spray damage I did myself, but otherwise, it's holding up fine. I just use a damp cloth to wipe off mud and blood. I do use a regular gun rag that might have some solvent on it, but it does not appear to be doing any damage. Caligvla
Use a damp cloth. If need be, use a mild detergent and then wipe again with a damp cloth. No solvents. No oils. FYI, Bug repellent eats through camo like acid...
