TookyriverCalls
She messed up my VT hunt & paid the ultimate price for it! Shot less than 10ft away. Last day VT Jake / 16lb - 4” beard - ½” spurs
TookyriverCalls
My bearded hen on the last day of NY / 11lb - 7 ¾” beard My VT gobbler and this bearded hen will both be mounted on the same display for when I do sport shows. They'll make for a great booth display
CraigL
Awesome season and nice birds! I am still feeling guilty when I sleep until 6:00 AM, I can't mentaly let the season go. I'll post some pics later. I killed 3 birds between NY and PA. One of the birds was 23lbs! 9 1/2" beard, 1 1/8 spurs! Mywife told me if I had a turkey mounted she would leave, I hope the taxedermist hurries up with it

Mywife told me if I had a turkey mounted she would leave, I hope the taxedermist hurries up with it Thanks! I wish my wife would give that kind of ultimatum! I’d have them all mounted I couldn’t pass up on the 1 9/16 spur gobbler and then the hen. The best spurred gobbler I've ever taken plus my first bearded hen. She actually was pretty pissed about me getting the hen mounted as well. Lucky for me, my taxidermist is a great friend of mine and it will only cost me $700 for the two birds and the base display. I’m going to have the gobbler standing relax with the hen feeding in front of him. I thought it would really show off her beard (which was 7 ¾” long) and the gobbler hooked sword will be seen good in the standing position as well.
