  1. Ordered mine on Tuesday evening when I saw this post - the furniture arrived today. Probably the fastest shipping from PSA that I've ever experienced...! Don't necessarily think I'll put this furniture on either of my guns, but it's an option for the future. I'll likely just stick them in the gun room and when some guy asks for these in eleven years I'll sell him my $900 set of wooden furniture... lol. Would be nice if there was some type of heat shield on the forearm as the wood is pretty thin and I can imagine it getting pretty hot with moderate usage. ll

  3. I was planning on putting them on just for a photo op, and then stashing away with the other extra benelli parts. If the hand guards fit as tight as a couple posts on the other board mentioned, I won’t be forcing them in. Sounds like they may need a bit of fitting work beforehand. Also as far as the stock and its Urbino styled attachment, that sort of makes it less appealing to me now. Just my own .02; I don’t like how the mesa stocks bolt up. Esp now if you have to chase threads or change bolts, adding washers etc. whatever not like that’s a lot of work but I wouldn’t want to shoot it installed that way and am leery of maybe boogering-up my receiver extension threads. Anyway don’t mind me, I’m just a little bored and anxiously waiting for my order to be delivered. They do look quite nice and as said previously, for $70 you can’t go wrong. - Debbie downer out -

  5. I along with several others asked a simple question, how does ghost loading damage the carrier latch since YOU brought up the subject “ this is a good recipe to damage the carrier latch” I was genuinely curious until you started avoiding answering the question. Usually only one reason people do that so of course I’m going to start questioning the validity of the original assertion especially after refusing to answer a simple question that would clear everything up. Now I’m asking myself why all the deflecting , redirecting & condescendence on top of everything else over a single simple question you brought up….. eh anyways…. If the M1014 survives the USMC teaching & utilizing it, it will survive me doing it occasionally as well. It’s on page 24 & 25 of the USMC operators manual for those interested.

  6. Although, upon reflection, and I’m just guessing, I suppose it’s possible they intentionally designed the bit to break away if the torque was exceeded - all to prevent from screwing up the aluminum receiver. That would be cool. But I’m betting it was just a crappy bit. lol.

  8. Between the comments on Reddit and here, I’m pretty certain this is becoming another missed revenue opportunity for Benelli.

  9. Thank you for letting me know. I was thinking about buying a whole Turkish shotgun to get the wood furniture off it.

  10. A simple “I don’t know” would have sufficed. Everything past “ I will not share this information.” Has as much credibility and/or usefulness as your initial claim without an explanation. Sorry OP didn’t mean to derail your post.
