  1. The three notches, or stars, means it is a Modified Choke. Yes, you can shoot slugs from your modified choke. You can use pretty much any type of 12-gauge 2 3/4-3" ammo through this choke.

  2. Hi All: Rumaging around on the Internet for these manuals is kind of a pain, so I'm linking them to this forum from my Google Drive. These links should be good forever, unless Google goes under or the Internet disappears: USMC Technical Manual (TM 10698A-10/1): Operator's Manual for Shotgun, Combat, 12 Guage Semi-Automatic M1014 1005-01-472-3147 November 2000 18410698000: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxN5CusgXy6nbm1udXh5dzYyYUU Benelli M4 Product Manual M4 (comes with the shotgun): https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxN5CusgXy6nNmlRcGxjWEpOaXM ENJOY!

  6. I have shot hundreds of rounds through my M4 with the Briley handguard attached. Everything from bird shot to 3" magnum rounds and not once has it become loose in any way. Not sure why yours did, maybe you did not seat it correctly. I know that I have seen some guys have that issue, thinking they had it seated all the way down and they didnt. Maybe call Briley and they can walk you through the process, also, having the Benelli M4 LE version, you need to put a washer where the Briley hand guard sits. There can be many different reasons as to why your handguard got loose but the B & T one is pretty cool. I was actually wanting to get that one before I found the Briley handguard, the only problem was trying to get one was almost impossible at the time.

  7. Hmmm… both should be public access links. Typical. The USMC M1014 manual is linked here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxN5CusgXy6nbm1udXh5dzYyYUU/view?usp=sharing&resourcekey=0-XUTOPgDtyc3Orz9E7imIbg The Benelli M4 product manual is linked here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxN5CusgXy6nNmlRcGxjWEpOaXM/view?usp=sharing&resourcekey=0-BngltgbH1bK4yPj3RGjEUQ
