    M4 Stock removal?

the trigger group needs to be removed first so you can spin the stock on and off,, [ 02-12-2006, 06:20 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ]
  3. that"s who it was GG&G ,,I bought some of the very first ones back about 4 yrs ago,,then i bought the bar for alot less and its still on my M1 Super 90,,,,post your results when your done nodark,,you won"t be dissapointed---best to ya from M1014 [ 02-07-2006, 06:22 AM: Message edited by: M1014 ]
  4. yes ,,its an oversize mag release button from a 1911,,I like the extra seration it provides over the Practical model,,,bought the button at a gunshow,,$10 ,,contacted my gunsmith and he and I together found the correct drill and tap size,,,test drilled and tapped some spare steel first then moved on to the real thing,,removed the carrier plate from the weapon,,vised it up and go
  5. had one,,cost way to much,,,it broke,,where the screw goes into the drilled and tapped stud,,,the stud broke loose from the base and began to spin around in any direction,,no abuse ,no nothing just broke loose,,hopefully they"ve rectified this,,,like the other aftermarket big pads,,there okay ,,butttt to big,,the setup I have now is just right,,it follows more along the factory engineering,,,like the Practical model of 98-99
  6. hi Scott,,,#2 Goes in first all the way towards the front, right behind #2 is #1 if you want put the limiter in if your going hunting ,,if not hunting,,ditch it and get to the spring, put the spring in next and carefully get all into the mag tube,,compress everything and start scewing it in,,wear saftey glasses or you might poke out your gooodeye---peacs to ya
  7. I used the 98-99 Benelli Practical as a guide, for the correct size of the button,,not to big and not too small,,,,the button comes from a 45,,its drilled and tapped on the orginal piece,,it improves locating the release 100%---love it
  8. this is the best cure i have found to replace the small factory carrier bolt release button the factory provides
  9. kinky STA,,,,Looks like something you have alot of expierience with,,short and stubby
  10. thats terrible to type if you would not want it down the road,,,,

  23. your a wise man,,you've learned from others expieriences,,now pass it on when the oportune arises,,share the wealth,,thats what makes us Benelli brothers
  24. make sure you got rid of the mag spring retainer so that the mag spring rests on the mag cap ,,cheeeers [ 01-23-2006, 04:54 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ]
  25. name calling,,hhmmm, the super 90 series comes from the 80s,,when Benelli's revised version from the old sl80 series came out.now halfway through this decade we have the m2 series designating the new series of Benellis,,,,as for super 90 ,,,they made there point in the 90s---seeya M1014
