  1. as far as prices go, your s.o.l. i do believe, i've looked everywhere for acceceries and can't get em below what benelli sells em for, it's sorta like oakley sunglasses, you just can't get em cheaper somewhere else...
  2. that is very true, horns do make thin soup, but i would shoot a doe over a buck any day unless i was going to mount it, those bucks are just too strong to me, i don't care how much salt you put on em. any tips on how to draw out some of the gameyness??
  3. i just use the full choke that came with my sbe. i shoot 3.5 with #5s
  4. Red, i'm not too sure about your plug, but mine is an aluminum pin with a flat disk welded to it, and they have a bad tendesy to break, so that could have been your problem too. Just put a stick in that end of it, that has always worked for my other shotguns.
  5. I finally got me one the other day, i'm not saying how big she was, but i got one, and it fried up nice and juicy, time to focus on my woodies and gobblers now.
  6. They special ordered my SBE also, but of course it was left handed, from a big dealer in GA. it took 4 mnths. because they forgot to tell me it was on backorder from Italy, so stay on their @$$ about it.
  7. Yeah, i agree with Mossberg Man, the trigger gaurd is aweful, along with everything else.
  8. M1 slug gun = 1050-1160 SBE slug gun= 1345-1460
  9. This probobly won't help you at all, but my SBE is 2 years old and has a higher one, and one of my buddies dads has one that isn't and his is about 10 yrs old. i guess that gives you a field of view.
  10. I took a big swing and a miss (*twice) with my first deer of the season, a small doe, or maybe a nubbin' buck, but i whiffed it good with my model 7, and haven't been back, that was a month ago. I should go back though and get my spirits up.
  11. I am a very satisfied SBE owner, however i was wondering, when i bought my SBE 2 years ago, there is no option for the walnut stock on the left handed models, i was curious as to why, if anyone knows will they please tell me. thanks.
