OOPS! My bad. Forgot all about the magic number.
-
Oh yeah! Almost forgot. When are you and your "friend" who can allegedly read and write, going to get started on my little quiz way back there? Couldn't you two discuss it when you're spending time together? At least one of you should be able to talk??

After only 8 years of Cheney/Bush doing nothing. Keep selling it, little fly. Keep selling it. Do you have Fox News on right now? Are their heads exploding yet? How are they going to manage to downplay this one to suit their agenda? I'm sure they'll say that this operation was started by Geraldo and Ollie North.

Dookey, Do you actually try to read his posts? Might as well get a bowl of alphabet soup and see what the spoon dredges up. It's like an illiterate MySpace page on acid.

Radio? They still have that?

In keeping with the theme, there is news tonight of more failures on the part of the Obama Administration in the God is Good Global War on Terror. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/16/world/asia/16intel.html Secret Joint Raid Captures Taliban’s Top Commander By MARK MAZZETTI and DEXTER FILKINS Published: February 15, 2010 WASHINGTON — The Taliban’s top military commander was captured several days ago in Karachi, Pakistan, in a secret joint operation by Pakistani and American intelligence forces, according to American government officials. The commander, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, is an Afghan described by American officials as the most significant Taliban figure to be detained since the American-led war in Afghanistan started more than eight years ago. He ranks second in influence only to Mullah Muhammad Omar, the Taliban’s founder and a close associate of Osama bin Laden before the Sept. 11 attacks. Mullah Baradar has been in Pakistani custody for several days, with American and Pakistani intelligence officials both taking part in interrogations, according to the officials.

Well now, let's see. You can pick it up at about 30 seconds in. http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/thu-august-13-2009/glenn-beck-s-operation As for Hannity, how about when he substituted footage from one protest to make another one look like more than it really was? http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/tue-november-10-2009/sean-hannity-uses-glenn-beck-s-protest-footage You see, TaintSkimmer, you believe what you want to believe... or what they want you to believe. I don't know about teaching pigs to sing. Never tried it, but I guess someone has. I always thought the saying was about horses and teaching them to drink. The more of your ridiculous drivel I read, the more I realize that I'm trying to get this horse to drink from the wrong end. Retirement? You want to talk about retirement? OK. 18 Republican members of Congress have announced retirements, as opposed to 15, counting today's announcement, from the other side. I'm certain there's some point you are trying to make here, but I don't seem to be getting it. What exactly is that point?

Uh oh. I smell printer ink in Florida! easy big boy..... easy.

What? That's not your wife?
-
Your wife-sister should stop trimming her nails so closely. Let them grow out a little. Looks better on girls.

TurnipSkooter, I must have missed your direct question, buried in all of your run on sentences and a flurry of misspelling and poor grammar. Please restate the question in a concise manner and I'll address it.

Plenty of people, including myself, have disagreed with Obama and not been called racist. With that being said, I think anyone with a modicum of sense would have to agree that there is a very strong contingency out there that has no desire to listen to anything he says simply because he is dark-skinned. It's already been proven here in these forums that such feelings are just beneath the surface, waiting for a hate mongering "leader" to come along and set off a blaze that could rip this country into. Sadly, most of what we get from the media are the extreme views, which don't necessarily align with most of America one way or another. One good point that's been made is that while the parties remain in gridlock, both unwilling to pass anything written by the other, the nation slides deeper into debt and farther behind the rest of the world in almost every category conceivable. Blinded by our own arrogance, we refuse to consider successful healthcare models that have been proven to work by other countries, or some even our own states, like Hawaii. For some reason, we let the lobbyists and the fringe come up with the big ideas, when we know very well that they have nothing but their own interests in mind, not those of the majority of Americans. As other countries surge ahead in technology, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and research, we are all in the middle of the ocean fighting over who gets to drown first. Serious discussion and debate needs to take place in an open forum. But it doesn't. This thread is the poster child of what's going on across the nation. One side wants to have serious and meaningful discussions, and the other side wants to resort to childish antics and promote division through lies and half-truths. I injured my leg last week. It hasn't gotten better, so I went to the doctor about it today. They wanted to send me to the hospital for venous ultrasound, to make sure there were no clots in the arteries in my leg. There is a hospital about one mile from my house, but they're not in my insurance company's network. So, instead of going to that hospital, I had to drive 50 miles to one that was in the network. When I got there, I had do the whole registration song and dance with that hospital, even though they could have easily saved the time and labor of doing that with something as simple a shared database of medical records. I lost an afternoon of work and a few gallons of gas. I doubt seriously that the insurance company saved anything. It may have even cost them more for all I know. This is one of the thousands of things that are wrong about our healthcare system. Yet the lunatic fringe, so well represented and pervasive to this thread, won't accept the fact that America already voted on this and many other issues, and THEY LOST! These people have abandoned their constituencies and have sided instead with the loud minority voices that are out there yelling and screaming, "Don't trust the ******!" while most of us go about our lives in the obscurity we've grown so accustomed to. The "Fair & Balanced" faithful couldn't think for themselves if their lives depended on it. They take in their daily talking points from nutjobs like O'Reily, Beck, and Limbaugh and regurgitate them through e-mails, blog posts, and forums. Without their daily dose of hatred and opposition, they would be clueless as to a single issue or important event. The other side is no better. Olberman spews venom and spends 75% of his time preaching to his choir about what utter BS the other side has flooded the airwaves with. Yes, people are getting fed up. But if the right-wing extremists think that we're just getting fed up with the current whitehouse, then they're only pushing themselves further into obscurity, beyond the margins. so texassSHEETER!, let's see some more name-calling, and lunatic ranting from the other side of crazy. Anything to keep the discussion as unappealing and completely off-target as possible. You and your kind are like a disease of hatred and ignorance. Sadly, there are many more susceptible hosts yet to be infected. The next time you care to compare our President, the one an overwhelming majority voted for in a democratic election, to one of the biggest promoters of hatred in history, go and take a look in the mirror. Let's see how that stubby little mustache of yours is coming along. I have offered a boatload of information and facts here. You have offered a does of ignorance and misdirection that would make Glen Beck look like a Rhodes Scholar at a Mensa convention. I hope someone has read the information I've offered. I hope they've had the good sense to follow up and check facts for themselves. The truth is still out, obscured by the din of crazies like you. Please don't use the word debate again. I'm pretty sure you have no clue as to what it means or how it works.

So the question remains. If they have all of that firm ground upon which to stand, why are they so afraid of going and telling him these things to his face?
-
If he's so incompetent and bumbling, why is it that the entire GOP leadership is so afraid to have an open dialogue with the man? All against one, and they still fear him? It's similar to what we have seen here, in this thread, isn't it? Hiding out behind the scenes and letting sophomoric jabs fly is a lot easier than actually squaring up to a worthy opponent and actually discussing the issues. The latter requires some knowledge of the issues and some ability to have an adult conversation. As pointed out by Sgt. Cathy, when you don't have that, you're left with name-calling and primitive behavior. I think this video covers it very well. It's a TRAP!
-
Here's an idea for both of you. Go back to Webkinz and do some lurking. Learn some skills from those who are more advanced than yourselves and come back when you are ready to actually try and discuss some relevant issues. Meanwhile, I have become so completely bored with you both that I am going to join the rest of the membership here and ignore you. Please continue to fondle each other in this thread. It's nice to see love blossom right here on the Interwebs, and this close to Valentines Day. It's gayer than a glazed mustache, but it's uplifting.

Zack, A bit of friendly advice to you. Posting your phone number and e-mail address on public forums will bring you more Spam and telemarketers than you can possibly manage. Generally, folks simply ask that interested parties contact them via PM (Private Message). Good luck with your sale.

I am always ready to debate an adult. Preferably one with a reasonable grasp of both language and issues. You have offered no evidence of either. Sadly, were breathing not a gift of involuntary function, bestowed upon even the lowly garden slug, I suspect you would have long since expired.

Eye am hear to help ewe two. Click hear.

Very well said. I'd also move that the word "debate" be removed from the subject line of this thread. I tried to have one, but no one showed up for the other side.
-
I'm sure having fun with the flies.
-
Awwww.... Now I feel bad. I know how important your self-image is to you. Forget what I said. Lock it up and swallow the key. Keep swallowing.
-
If I were doing so endlessly I wouldn't be typing a reply and making you feel as though your life has some obscure meaning.

Wingless flies. Poor wingless flies. Your buddy? Do you not have the ability to think for yourself? You have to recruit someone to do your research for you? Meanwhile, the most condemning things you can come up with are two trivial and completely meaningless facts? Do you really think Geitner uses the short form? Do you seriously think that he does his own accounting? I am now beginning to realize what I'm dealing with here. Let me scale back and give you a challenge commensurate with your ability to understand and solve problems. This is a Thermos bottle. It keeps hot foods hot and cold foods cold. How does it know? How does it know?
-
If the British PM can't find a NTSC or region-free DVD player, then perhaps the British are suffering the same leadership woes that burdened us for 8 years. Seriously. Is that and Geitner's accounting slip-ups the best you've got. A few weeks? I knew you were slow. That's something that you seem to broadcast proudly with each and every reply, but a few weeks?! That's short bus stuff right there.

I accept your generous offer. Go ahead and post 100 negatives. You really need to get cracking on some of these challenges and spend less time spewing drivel. You have questions to research, questions to post, and now you have to fabricate 100 negative effects of the Obama whitehouse. It's really getting to be nearly as daunting a task for you as tying your shoes... assuming you have shoes.
