  1. My M4 has taken quite a quota of QUAIL in Arizona but I have never tried Dove..... only down side for me is quail hunting is A-LOT of running after those little buggers and the 8 lb gun gets heavey by the end of a 105 degree hunting day.!!!!
  2. Imagine what could be done with a M4 and extended mag tube, loaded full!
  3. I have a new in the box #70085 collapsable M4 stock for sale, I keep at the going rate of $619.00 shipped in the lower 48.
  4. I have used my M4 for Az Quail. Last season, I was able to bag my limit of 30 in two days of hunting the cactus hills. I have to say I quit carring my Beretta Silver Pigion O/U in favor of the M4! I really like having the quick release sling and extra ammo on the Mesa Tactical side saddle.
  5. I too have the 10x42 windriver binos, and I too LOVE them. I wold realy like to have the new switch 10/17x42. I want to get some of the eye cups that will block more of the light from the outside of your face. It looks like there are better eye cups on the switch models.

Trust me they quit laughing when you have more birds and less shots then the otheres in the group. Next is the "hey can I try it????"

I have the M4 and I do hunt quail with it... I love the short barrel and can make very quick doubles and an occasional 3rd bird. I have used my trusted O/U for years but gave it up for the M4 and have not looked back. I know there are the diehards that say you need a looooong barrel for hunting, but for me I like the M4.
  8. I do not have one but this is a USA company that I have looked at for them! click on the tactical barrels link on the left side of the page. They do make them for the HK barrels. http://www.royalarms.com/
  9. I have a Benelli M4 I changed it from Duty configuration and put a traditional hunting stock on it with the 3 shot tube, and left my quck adjust 2 point sling on it. Then went to Arizona for opening day of Quail season the first of October. On opening morning having never shot at a real bird with the M4, I was lucky enough to be in the birds. I was able to limit out that day. I have hunted with both a pump 12 and a beautiful Beretta Silver Pigion 12 O/U as well. I have take may birds in the past with those guns. BUT, I have to say taking the all-biet heavy M4 out there and humping up the hills for those little qauil was a great time. Ihave convinced my hunting budy to get one as well. We both love the light kick even after a full day of blasting. So, My vote is take a M4 out and have fun, it is what you bought if for right!
  10. Hey ERdept, I work in Cerritos.... As for the loctight, I took mine off with no heat, just used a wood block to make a small wrench and turned it off, I didi not like the adding of HEAT... I have done 2 this way with no issues. once the seal is broken, they just turn out no issue. I dont belive any lub is needed or would help. The locktight is military GREEN.
  11. I have ordered the 26mm.... I will try and post pics when I get it.... Thanks SGTMAJ
  12. Hey SgtMaj on your Brownells adaptor, did you order the 26MM size???? Thanks for the info....
  13. SgtMaj: In the first picture you show what looks to be a 3 sided mount that you have labled "Brownings Tri mount" and there appears to be a laser mounted on the bottom picitiny rail. I have searched till im BLUE... I can't find a "browings tri mount" please clarify this for me.... LOOKS GREAT WAY TO GO>>>>
  14. I was able to get my factoy tube off by using a piece of wood that is 18" long and 3"x1", I drilled a 1" hole back 3" from the end and used a band saw to cut a curf from the end across the hole and added 2 carage bolts to squeeze it back together and pinch on the tube as it is placed in the hole then using it like a large wrench, I snapped it quickly and the tube is free and unscrews with out any heating. If you have trouble I might add a heatgun to the threads and still use the "wrench". I can't see putting a M4 in the oven.
  15. Hey Mesa Tactical, I was unable to find any rail adaptor fore-end info on your web sight, what is the status of this option....? Thanks.
