I was reading on a sight the other day that extending and polishing the forcing cone would give better patterns. It seems i read here that it would not be a good idea for gas guns, but what about the NOVA (which I have)? Is it a good idea? Has anyone had it done? Its it worth it? I think the place was charging $150.

prizes depend on location. still mostly turkeys and hams, but just about anything goes from bacon and ribs to seafood and gift certificates. Some places have gun rounds and cash rounds. $50 rounds $5 a shot, guns or $100 rounds $10 a shot. have a mossberg 500 28" ported with a .640 choke that has done really well. waiting on a .643 choke for my nova,the stock full just doesnt cut it.

does anyone else here frequent "turkey shoots"? havent seen it mentioned anywhere.

got a red dot sight for xmas, and cant figure the thing out, seems like the dot moves all over the target depending on my head position. Due to the crappy weather and even more crappy work schedule i havent had the chance to field test it. Are these things any good for accuracy or just for fast target aquisition?
