    SBE trouble...

I think the point this dude is making is that a scope or two beads are doing the same thing.... rigid alignment of where the gun is shooting. I guess the day they invent 9X magnification, light gathering capacity on a pair of beads, then maybe they'll charge a bunch for it too. ARCHER [ 05-30-2006, 03:30 PM: Message edited by: ARCHER ]
  2. "...Now take your five worthless posts and run home to your sister/wife ..." dont talk about my wife ......... and you know what? if we git a divorse here in Tennessee, we still "legally" considered to be brother and sister. ARCH
  3. mudhen is one arrogant individual with this kind of attitude ".....Or you could just buy one sight unseen and then post up here and blame Benelli for ripping you off by charging $1500 for a gun that you don't like " do like HH says and be open to the idea of doing some trigger work. I've done the same thing and it isn't too expensive. Production guns are set heavy for liability purposes , not necessarily good shooting. Just be sure to send it to a competent and dependable gunsmith. Wouldnt let just anybody do this work. ARCHER [ 05-15-2006, 10:23 AM: Message edited by: ARCHER ]
  4. Sounds like it was your lucky day !!! I think benelli is basically a great gun, but there is no reason that these guns should have operating problems other than the occasional lemon gun, that benelli would stand behind. ArchDriver
  5. I have read this thread completely and perrytrails and HH are 100% correct. You dont change the POI by changing shims if you are using the beads on the rib to sight your object. Shims make sense when you wing shoot because you dont use the barrel to sight your object, you use your eye as the sighting device and its imperative that the gun point where you look. Quite the opposite for turkey hunting purposes. ARCHER
  6. Its easy to take out the recoil spring and clean it. Mine wasnt too dirty anyway, but Benelli says to clean it at least once a yr. Seems like they ought to put the procedure in the owners manual if its highly recommended.... which it is. ARCHER

I have noticed some wear when I put mosquito dope on but its not too bad. Keep it wiped off and clean. ARCHER
