  1. I put it on and never got a chance to use it before my M4 was stolen. There is nothing wrong with it. In new condition. Will take $190 shipped USPS Priority Mail. I do not do PayPal so USPS money order. Will post pics later.
  2. Was found at a Pawn Shop.
  3. Well, i have not been on the forum for a few months b/c it made me miss my Benelli's. All but one of my guns were stolen from me and I was reunited with my M4, R1, and one of my XD-45's. I still did not get my Super Nova, My AR, and 2 of my XD's. I know I should have had a safe for them but this old house I live in would not hold the weight of one. Well, I will be getting some added support so I can get one. I will not let this happen again. I am glad to be back on the forum to see what all the nice guys I have meet through the forum are doing. Glad to see some new members in here. Can't wait to meet some of yall.
  4. Yes, extra barrels are high priced. I had a extra barrel and sold it for the same price as I paid for the gun. As far as the wife thing goes. Just don't tell her! LOL Just kidding! I'm sure you will think of something.
  5. Yes, SOCOMguy has a good rep. on here so I got one and I love it.
  6. Date of Manufacture Question Can you tell me when my Beretta firearm, made in Italy, was produced ? Answer Beretta firearms produced in Italy carry a proof mark for the year of production. The chart below is used to identify the year by this mark. For recent pistols this mark is usually located on the frame near the trigger guard, for older pistols, the mark is on the slide or on the frame behind the grip area. Shotguns have this mark stamped on the barrel near the chamber. You may need to remove the barrel to read the mark. On some older firearms, produced between 1925 to1954, the actual date was stamped instead of a code mark. In this case the date can be located near the test proof marks on the frame. The exception to this occurred during the regime of Benito Mussolini. The Italian Proof House used a roman numeral system marking the year of his reign which began with "I" in 1922. The first Beretta firearm using this dating system was the Model 1934 pistol (introduced in 1935), thus the year was indicated as XIII (usually marked on the slide) and refering to the 13th year of Mussolini's regime. This practice ended in 1945 with XXIII at the close of World War Two and the chart below takes up from that point. It should be noted that some wartime production firearms were void of any marking to indicate the production date. We have also seen markings where roman and numerical figures are combined, for example XX7 for 1971, XX8 for 1972 and XX9 for 1973. MARK YEAR I or 1 1945 II or 2 1946 III or 3 1947 IV or 4 1948 V or 5 1949 VI or 6 1950 VII or 7 1951 VIII or 8 1952 IX or 9 1953 X 1954 XI 1955 XII 1956 XIII 1957 XIV 1958 XV 1959 XVI 1960 XVII 1961 XVIII 1962 XIX 1963 XX 1964 Date of Manufacture XXI 1965 XXII 1966 XXIII 1967 XXIV 1968 XXV 1969 XXVI 1970 XXVII or XX7 1971 XXIII or XX8 1972 XXIX or XX9 1973 XXX 1974 AA 1975 AB 1976 AC 1977 AD 1978 AE 1979 AF 1980 AH 1981 AI 1982 AL 1983 AM 1984 AN 1985 AP 1986 AS 1987 AT 1988 AU 1989 AZ 1990 BA 1991 BB 1992 BC 1993 BD 1994 BF 1995 BH 1996 BI 1997 BL 1998 BM 1999 BN 2000 BP 2001 BS 2002 Date of Manufacture BT 2003 BU 2004 BZ 2005 CA 2006 CB 2007 CC 2008
  7. +1 on the good job. If you get board you can do one for the R1 and the SBE II.
  8. I use a Crossbreed Super Tuck. Works well with all my XD's
  9. Well, I was on my way home from offshore and I was getting sleepy. I gassed up 4 hours earlier when I first got on the road. I had been up about 20 hours and decided to stop and go to the bathroom and get some coffee to drink at this gas station I usually stop and get gas at. Well, when I pulled up the parking lot was full so I had to park on the side of the store. I go in and take care of things and when I came out side going to my truck a guy starts to come at me saying "Hey man, Hey come see." I said " I don't have nothing for you!" Then he gets all upset. "How come you see a black man coming to you and you think I want money" he said. I told him,"Some of my best friends are black so it is not a black or white thing but that anyone hanging out at 3am in a gas station parking lot usually wants money." Then he said that if he was white I would have stopped to see what he wanted. I told him I was on my way home and was tired and did not have time for anyone, including his black/white bull crap. Then he reached in his back pocket and pulled a knife and said that if he wanted my money he would get it if he wanted it. At this point I was (and I'm not ashamed) scared sh!t less. But I was able to keep my cool and I pulled up my shirt and pulled out my XD-9 SC. I did not point it at him but made darn sure he got an eye full. Then he said, " Why it's got to be like that?" Thats when I said," You the one that pulled a knife on me. Looks like you the one thats got to be like that." Well, he took off to the front of the store and was saying he pulled a gun on me. So when some of the guys he was talking to when I went in the store started to come over to the side of the store asking why I pulled a gun I could not help my self but say,"He is the dumb ass that brought a knife to a gun fight. I got in my truck and took off. I can't believe that happen to me. But I'm glad it did not get worse than that. Not saying anything would have happen if I did not have my pistol but "What If?" Well I had to get this off my back. My wife was freaked out.
  10. Nice. Thanks for the pics. I will see how mine shoots and if I have problems I will give it a try.
  11. Thanks for the info. I just got one and have not had a chance to go to the range. Keep us posted.
  12. It is the factory M4 spring.
  13. Well, I did not realize how much difference there is in length in 2 3/4 in. ammo. I tried some Winchester Lead shot heavy game loads in #8 and got 7 in the mag. So I pulled out the old tape measure and the Wolf is 2 1/2, the Sellier & Bellot is 2 9/16, and the Winchester was 2 5/16.
  14. No. Just the follower and the spring retaining clip.
  15. I'm using 00 buck. I get 6 in and the 7th one goes about 1/2 way in.
  16. It is the 512. I like it alot. Also have one on my Super Nova.
  17. I just got one of these and it is nice. But I can only get 6 2 3/4 shells in it. I thought you could get 7 in there. What am I doing wrong? I used the factory spring that came with it.
  18. Well, I was wondering how the heck the M80 was going to fit on mine, but I finally figured it out. You have to put it on the barrel first then the whole thing slides over the mag tube. Here are a few pics of it and my new night sights from Meprolight and my new SOCOMguy mag tube.
  19. Well I ordered the Sure Fire M80 tonight and some night sights for the ghost rings. I should be getting my SOCOMguy mag tube any day now so I can't wait to get it back together and head to the range. Also ordered 100 rounds of 00 buck to take with me. Will post pics as soon as she is back in one piece.
