  1. Thanks very much.
  2. No one has a pic of the M80?
  3. How well do you think a Sure Fire Vertical Foregrip Weapon Light like the M910a would work on the M4 if I change out and put the Sure Fire M80. I like the one on my AR and was wondering. Does anyone have a good pic of the M80. I would like to see one before I get it.
  4. Beretta firearms produced in Italy carry a proof mark for the year of production. The chart below is used to identify the year by this mark. For recent pistols this mark is usually located on the frame near the trigger guard, for older pistols, the mark is on the slide or on the frame behind the grip area. Shotguns have this mark stamped on the barrel near the chamber. You may need to remove the barrel to read the mark. On some older firearms, produced between 1925 to1954, the actual date was stamped instead of a code mark. In this case the date can be located near the test proof marks on the frame. The exception to this occurred during the regime of Benito Mussolini. The Italian Proof House used a roman numeral system marking the year of his reign which began with "I" in 1922. The first Beretta firearm using this dating system was the Model 1934 pistol (introduced in 1935), thus the year was indicated as XIII (usually marked on the slide) and refering to the 13th year of Mussolini's regime. This practice ended in 1945 with XXIII at the close of World War Two and the chart below takes up from that point. It should be noted that some wartime production firearms were void of any marking to indicate the production date. We have also seen markings where roman and numerical figures are combined, for example XX7 for 1971, XX8 for 1972 and XX9 for 1973. At 1988 Au 1989 Az 1990 Ba 1991 Bb 1992 Bc 1993 Bd 1994 Bf 1995 Bh 1996 Bi 1997 Bl 1998 Bm 1999 Bn 2000 Bp 2001 Bs 2002 Bt 2003 Bu 2004 Bz 2005 Ca 2006 Cb 2007 Cc 2008
  5. I had already posted pics of my M4 but I guess I can do it again.
  6. Finally, shot my M4 today and OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS. This is so damn awesome. I can't believe I waited so long to get one. Well now I can't wait to get the mag. ext. from SOCOMguy and a shell holder from Mesa Tactical, Sure Fire grip. Man today was a GOOD day at the range.
  7. If you don't already know Springfield has made some XD gear kits that come with a nice hard case 3 mags and a double mag. holder. Most sell for around $45. That is a great deal b/c if you was to buy all that separate that would be well over $100. Here is a few sites that carry them and some of your local Springfield dealers might have them also. www.copesdist.com www.gilbertsguns.com www.pistolgear.com www.botachtactical.com www.budsgunshop.com __________________
  8. I would have had to change my shorts that's for sure.
  9. Black. It has the rifle sights and Pistol grip stock. I have one that has the ghost ring sights with a +2 Benelli brand mag. ext. I have a mount on it for a EOTech and a mount with a TLR-1. I probably will put it up for sell now that I have my M4. If I sell it I will be keeping the EOTech and Light. It holds 7+1.
  10. Just tried it and man, that is a nice trick. Wish I could do that with my Super Nova's.
  11. How do you do the one under the bolt? I never seen that done before.

    Another M4?

Ok my new M4 will hold 5 in the mag and one in the pipe. If I get the full length tube from SOCOMguy how many will it hold then? I seen someone say 6+1+1 but what does that mean? I guess the six is in the mag and one in the pipe but where is the other? I just was wondering how many will fit. My Super Nova Tactical has 7+1.
  13. Well, if they are like the Super Nova you have to take the gun apart and push them out from the inside. I used a small Phillips screw driver to push them out.
  14. Well, finally home from offshore and got some pics of the receiver.

    Nova Receiver?

Well, I have a extra receiver and on the inside is metal. The out side is some kinda polymer. At least that is what it looks like to me. I was wondering how the drilled holes could hold up on my EOTech and scope on the slug gun but it has a metal frame on the inside that the mount is screwed to.
  16. I'm looking for more capacity and wondered what would be the best. It looks like it will cost about $100 either way I go. Does anyone on here have one under $100?
  17. This is what I have on my SNT and will put on my M4. Insight

    Nova Receiver?

I think it is a polymer over metal frame.

  21. Thanks!!!
  22. I seen this bed side shot gun holder on some web site and me and the welder here on my rig was going to make one. And that is where the arms will hold the gun. The one I seen was adjustable but I was going to make this one just for my M4.
  23. I'm offshore away from my new M4 and was wondering if one of you fine M4 owners would get me a measurement from this point to point pic.http://www.villagephotos.com/viewpubimage.asp?id_=21444929
  24. Was looking around for a replacement and only found this one. Was wondering how it was and some pics maybe to see how it looks.
