  1. Ok. Now that you mention it I remember what that is. I see a lot of people do that with there AR-15's. I kinda feel dumb now. LOL I only use the EOTech my ghost ring sights are not used. Yes the holes are drilled for Weaver pattern (423M). I have two on the way from Natchez Shooters. I paid $5 apiece for them. I was going to have my Nova drilled and taped but I'm going to get me another Super Nova for hunting and put my slug barrel on the Nova b/c the barrel has a cantilever to mount my scope. That way I don't have to change it out when I want to use my slug gun. I found me a good place for deer and you can only use a shotgun. Plus I took my wife hunting for the first time and now she likes it and wants to start going next year so the extra gun will work fine. Here is a link to Natchez Shooters for the mounts. http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?contentID=productDetail&prodID=WE48443&CFID=90610&CFTOKEN=39946880
  2. Well not to sound dumb but what do you mean by an absolute co-witness or a lower third co-witness? I'm not real familar with some of the terms that some people use to describe how they hold and use there guns. As far as the rail it is a Weaver mount. The one I have now I had to cut another grove on top so I could bring the EOTech further back. I saw that Natchez Shooters had one and he was not for sure how many slots were on top so I called Weaver and they said 4. The one I have on now only had 2. The size for the Weaver mount is 423M.
  3. They sale the SNT with or without the ghost ring sight. The one without has a rifle type sight but it does not have the pistol grip. Once you add a rail to mount your scope or holosight the ghost ring will still be usable as long as the scope or sight is off. I use a holosight to hunt with so I don't need the factory sights. Plus I looked all over and can't find the pistol grips for sale. Here is a closer pic of the sight with the EOTech mounted.
  4. Yes you can take off the ghost ring sight but then you will have the holes to worry about. I guess you could put the screws back in but they might go in to far without the sight in place and cause a problem. If you put on an EOTech it will be higher than the ghost sight. I called Benelli about some plugs for the holes and they have nothing. The barrel on my Nova is a 26".
  5. I was wondering if I got a good deal on some TAP ammo I got this week. It is the low recoil for 12ga. in 00 buck shot. I paid $3.99 for a box of 5. If someone knows were I can get it cheaper please let me know.
  6. Does any one know of a good soft tactical case that my SNT will fit in. I have a hard case but it is a tight fit with my EOTech on it. Plus I want a few pockets to put a few other things with it such as tools and a small cleaning kit.
  7. I have a Nova and a Super Nova tactical. And yes you can use all the same barrels. The only problem is if you get the SNT with the ghost rings it will not match up with the sight bead on the barrel. A solution to that would be a scope if it is a rifled barrel or a red dot or holosight for the others. I have the cantilever on my slug barrel with a scope mounted on it. I use a BSA holosight but will soon be replacing it with another EOTech like I have on my SNT. Here is a few pics of both. If you have any other questions let me know.
  8. If anyone likes the Streamlight TLR lights I found a site that has them REALLY priced low. Darn good light. http://www.botac.com/sttrtali.html
  9. No it is not a universal it is made for the Nova/Super Nova. I only payed $20 for mine but I cant remember the name of the web site I got it from. And yes Mesa Tactical has one that goes in the stock and I contacted them back in mid Dec. about the shell holder and they said mid Jan. it should be on the market. I emailed them a few days ago and haven't heard any thing yet. If the have them out I will replace this one and then get my Nova drilled and taped and put one on it. Here is a link to a place that sales the Mesa Tactical shell holder for the Super Nova stock.httphttwww.gunaccessories.com.com/Mesa_TactiShellHolders.asp.asp And here is one for the TacStar shholder.httphttwww.tjgeneralstore.com.tacstar.htm.htm If I remember the name of the site I got mine from I will put up another post.
  10. Yes it is kinda crappy but you do have to take off the stock to do this with the pistol grip stock but not the ComforTech stock. I'm sure the book is was just a copy of the Nova manual. If you notice the pics in the book have the reg. stock.
  11. I like my EOTech. It lets me sight in on a target with both eyes open and a lot faster than the ghost rings. I have a BSA holo sight on my Nova I hunt with but will soon be replacing it with another EOTech.
  12. I have a Super Nova tactical and it is pre-drilled for a rail. I got one for $10 for mine. The only thing is I had to take the receiver apart to push out the plastic plugs that was in the holes. Here is a pic of the EOTech I put on my SNT. Benelli sells a rail but it runs from $40-$75.
  13. This place does a good job putting on coatings.http://www.dynamicfinishes.com/pattern.php?pattern=camo
  14. :DWell, maybe so. I think it would be to hard to change everything I have to Novaman. LOL
  15. Well, I have a Nova slug barrel and like it lots. The only thing bad I can say is you have to change out the barrels any time you go from one game to the next. At least if you get a Nova slug gun you could leave your SBE alone for hunting other game. I always recheck my scope after putting the slug barrel back on to make sure it is accurate.
  16. Both of mine do it too. It is a normal thing and it does not effect my Novas when shooting.
  17. Thanks M1014. I really like the EOTech. Way better than that BSA I have on my Nova. Must get another one. Also really impressed with the TLR-1 from Streamlight. Very well made and only $100. $150 cheaper than the one from Sure Fire and it is shock proof. I called Sure Fire and they said not to put it on a shotgun.
  18. Finally finished my SNT. Here is a few pics.
  19. I have a Nova and a Super Nova and have no problems at all.
  20. Well, Do you want the good news or the bad first. As far as the mag. ext. it is hard to get one made from Benelli. They are not shipping them to the states b/c of the laws. You can get one from TacStar. There are several places that sells them like Cabela's and Natchez Shooters. The telescoping stock is not for sale as of this time. I called Benelli and the said some time soon hopefully. And the top rail can be found at your local gunsmith. I have a Benelli brand mag. ext. on my Super Nova tactical. I had 2 but sold one b/c I decided not to put it on my other Nova. I got my rail from my gun dealer. I have a side shell holder from TacStar, a light mount from Insight, my light is a TLR-1 from Streamlight, and a EoTech for my sights.
  21. Is it possable to use my Super Nova with a mag. ext. and only be able to put in two shells or do I need to take it off so I will be legal to hunt. In Louisiana you can only have three shells in the gun. I want to use it to hunt hogs and was hoping not to remove it if there was something I could do.
  22. Hope you guys have a Good New Year. Will
