Hello folks. Two things... First is My modified choke comes loose every time I shoot slugs and buckshot out of me shotty. What color/strength locktite would you all reccomend to keep that sucker in there? Or should I just get and IC choke instead of the M? Secondly. I'm telling you. do not waste your time talking to customer service people. If you want a better answer, ask to talk to their boss, or go even higher up. Their cs has been so ****** that I refuse to anybody thats not a manager.

I think there must have been a miscomunication to the CS people that the gun itself was no longer for civilians as opposed to just the stocks. I had trouble believeing that the M4 would not be sold anymore. That would have been a terrible buisness decision. If you are going to call Benelli, ask the CS person for their supervisor. Thats the only real way to get good info. Go higher up, **** ask fro somebody in national sales or whatever. Im not listeneing to the regula CS folks anymore.

OK EVERYBODY! By a miracle, I got through to benelli CS after 15 minutes. The CS agent said the model 11707 would continue to be sold to civilians with fixed pistol grip stock and 2 port barrel. I asked her if I could talk to the CS supervisor/manager to verify this and because I wanted higher up since that was a 1 in a trillion chance I got through. The CS Supervisor definately knew what she was talking about. She confirmed the 11707 going to be produced for civilian market for a very long time!!!! I took the oppertunity to clarify some other questions that I have definately been confused about before. She says that aside from the fixed skelestocks for the limited edition m1014s, there has only been 1 model skelestock produced. She also confirmed that the 4 port low recoil barrels have been smelted and are dead. And finally (DRUMROLE) She unfortunately confirmed that the skelestocks are definately for law enforcement only as of now. This is legit from a supervisor. End

I have attempted to contact Benelli via telephone many many times over the last month. At one point, during regular hours, I was on hold for 2 hours. I hung up. They have not responded to emails either. I have been trying to get a few peices of informantion that none of my local FFL dealers seem to know, and none of them have been willing to concat Benelli for a few months now because of the lousy communication accesibility. I also contacted SWATmag about their recent review on the M4 and how uninformative and short it was. It was possibly the least useful-to-the-consumer article I have ever read. What I have been trying to figure out is... 1-Is the model 11707 going to be continued for civilian sales? 2-Is the collapsable skeletonstock going to be continued for civilian sales? 3-How many variations of the skeletonstock have been made and what are their part numbers? (I have gathered there has been the fixed skelestock, the 2 position collapsable skelestock, and the 3 position collapsable skeletock) 4-If Benelli is a big corporation with a military contract, why is there such a thick shroud of misinformation surrounding one of their weapons I would appreciate any solid information that could help. I WOULD ALSO APPRECIATE IF SOMEBODY COULD POINT ME TO TELESCOPING STOCKS! I do not care about the price anymore because I'm just overwhelmed and frustrated. At this point I'd give one of my testicles for a telestock because I'm just going to assume that they'll never be offered again until I'm told different. and sorry in advance if this was a waste of your time...I've spent at least 20 hours on these forums reading old threads over the last month and am still lost.

HEY! This has probably been asked before, but why are there not more people with the Houge wrap-around grip on their pistol grip stocks? I'd assume http://www.hogueinc.com/getgrip/merchant.ihtml?pid=146&lastcatid=114&step=4 would be super fly on a 12banger...

Good call. Since I'm new to the forums, and to Benelli guns (as well as the heavy research that comes with them) I guess I was just trying to find the easy way. Oh well, I've done a search for "M4" and am currently working my way through time, reading every thread. I'm on page 11 of 16 or something like that. Just too much to process...

Wow. I wasn't expecting that. Why is it so difficult to find the real deal in simplistic forms? It seems everytime this comes up it ends up vanishing faster then a Russian in McCarthy's kitchen. Why has this become such a sensative subject? Didn't mean to tug an *** hair.

From what I collect out of this letter is that the Benelli M4 (with pistol grip) is an illegal weapon because it has 11 imported parts...correct? And the magazine tube extension would make the grand total 12 imported parts right..? I'm sure this has been adressed, but it should probably be tacked up somewhere. Ok, Before anybody starts pounding at their keyboards, I'd like to say that I have been reading on this forum for the bast 2-3 hours straight and have read many threads on mag extensions. It is just a shitload of info to process and I'd really like for it to be broken down. Everybody and their mother seems to be offering a magazine extension for the M4/M1014 now. Especially since Benelli is no longer offering them to civillians. I would like to know some highly reccomended American -made extensions and some links to purchase them. I'm not looking for the cheapest, just good quality. Thanks for any input. -Fett
