I agree. I have both a PG and a comfortech for my Supernova and I go with the comfortech for home defense. I have no specific reasons other than it feels better and a **** of a lot of people have been blasted over the years with a 12 gauge fitted with a hunting stock for me to be concerned about its perceived as being less tactical. It may not be tacticool, but a standard hunting stock is great for pointability and speed on target.

I actually went the other direction and replaced my 870 because it was locking up and failing to eject empty hulls constantly. I have owned 2 Supernovas and have not had a single issue with either of them and I treat them like complete crap. I traded my first one in on the 870 because I wanted to own an American made gun but, I guess I got a lemon because the "super infallible mostwonderfulshotgunever 870 police" was TOTALLY unreliable for me. Bad guns get made sometimes by every manufacturer.

I have both the Aimpoint and the Eotech and hands down I would use the Eotech. They lend themselves to shotguns really well also because they have the 65 moa ring as well as the 1. To sum my opinion up, the Aimpoint is old technology and the Eotech is new technology. Once you take your shotty to the range with your Eotech on it you will be floored how quickly you can get on target, in any light condition, with both eyes open. They are simply amazing in CQB.

That is not the comfortech gel recoil pad. The Supernova comfortech stocks do not come with gel recoil pads on them. They do on the Super Black Eagle II but not on the Supernova for some reason. The gel pad from Benelli does not fit on pistol grip stock.

Well, I will tell you I have both stocks for my SuperNova tactical and I prefer the Comfortech. I love a good pistol grip on rifles, but for some reason I just don't them on Shotguns. Also, my defensive round is a 3 1/2" 00 buck shell with 18 pellets in it. If I shot that with the pistol grip stock I would do more damage to myself than my attacker. One thing you should note, you cannot put a Benelli gel pad on the pistol grip stock, it doesn't fit. Also, for some reason the Supernova comfortech stock comes without a gel pad, so I added one immediately. You can buy them at www.e-gunparts.com All my .02 of course.

Thanks guys. I was finally able to get it off but not without destroying the old sight. It was just a bad screw unfortunately. Anyway, I got a new 5.5mm nut and put my new sights on and they look great!

Guys, please help, this is going to drive me to drink! This is the second time this has happened to me, once on my M4 and now on my M2. I had to take my M4 to a friggin' gun smith to get it fixed. I am not doing anything that I can tell wrong. It unscrews part of the way then just seems to stop. Does Benelli use threadlocker for the factory front blade? If so, how do I remove it? Help please.

OK, I cannot remove my front sight blade nut on my M2 Tactical. I have the correct size wrench for the nut (5.5), but I keep turning the nut and it never comes off. There must be some trick to this. Help PLEASE!

I have to echo what everyone else is saying here. While I do not have nearly the experience with my SBE II that some of the folks who have already posted have, I have fired probably 500-600 shells through it with no problems. I have fired low recoil tactical loads through it just to see if I could mess it up and it fired flawlessly. I have also fired 3 1/2 magnum BBs through it without a hickup. These guys are all right, forums draw people who have had problems. No matter how high a quality machine or electronic device you buy, if you go to the forum for it (if the company even has one) you will see people screaming about their problems and telling everyone not to buy it or it's a piece of junk. Bottom line, the SBE II with comfortech is the best weapon I have ever owned. Buy it, you will not be sorry.

Well, I have to respectfully disagree with you on that one. I have never put quite that many magnums through my SBE II in one outing, but I put about 90 3.5" magnums through it one day a couple of weeks ago at my father-in-law's ranch. I have a comfortech stock and I had no bruising on my shoulder nor did I feel the effects the next day. As to the why someone would want to fire a shell that big, if you are sitting in the mud waiting on a Turkey for 3 hours and you get one shot at one, believe me you will want to get as much shot out there and at as far a distance as possible. Just my $0.02 anyway.
