  1. Where can I get a US made mag tube follower for the M4? Thanks.
  2. it does look interesting, in a tacticool sort of way.
  3. I have to ask. What exactly do you mean by long range? 20 yards? 50? 100?
  4. I didn't have any trouble when I was selecting HD rounds and was trying out Winchester and Hornady LR rounds. OO Buck and slugs worked just fine. I will say that I couldn't float an extra round with the LR stuff though.
  5. I know what you mean. when I first shot mine I tried out the low recoil versions and the full strength semi auto versions. The LR work just fine but the SA stuff was painful. Also, the shot patterns for the LR were tighter than the SA. I found that I prefer the low recoil buck and slugs and that is what I have in it for HD.
  6. I shot Winchester Ranger low recoil slugs through my M4 just fine. I missed the bulls eye by only 3-4 inches at 100 yards. Granted I only shot the one shot at the target. I figured I didn't want to press mu luck any further. LOL
  7. I tried it out along with some of the LE red box semi-auto and the LE low recoil stuff. I found that the two full strength, the semi auto red box and the FPD stuff, gave pretty crappy patterns. Only about 2-3 of the pellets were in the 12 inch circle. The rest was scattered all over the paper. Some 12 inches outside the circle. The low recoil onthe other hand had great patterns. That is what I'm using in my M4.
  8. No. Well, as far as I know it won't. There is a fake tube extension that screws on the mag tube to make it a proper length. There are some people on here, like SOCOMguy, who makes a full length mag tube that you can buy that'll bring it up to 7+1.
  9. I can fit 7 rounds of both Winchester Ranger shot and slugs and hornady TAP shot and slugs just fine in mine.

    M4 Choke tube

I also have the choke with the three notches and have shot Winchester Ranger low recoil slugs through it just fine.
  11. That's pretty cool. I never knew they had those.
  12. I used the Black & Decker one that I found at Lowe's. It came with some attachments that helped as well.
  13. I have to go with tucker. What if you only have time for one shot. I'd hate to be in a situation where I only had one shot to save my, or a family member's life, and only have a blank in the chamber.
  14. My M4 came with the +2 extension and I had to remove that every time I disassembled it for cleaning. I decided to get the full length and it is now much easier. i also think it makes it look better as it now looks like it is supposed to be there vs. something screwed on later.

    M4 For Sale

Don't forget to ask his age as well.
  16. You can't have mine! LOL The only one I've ever seen locally is the one I have. Sorry.
  17. I've never even heard of choke lube. where might I find some and is there a preference? Can you tell I'm a shotgun newbie?
  18. I hope you got that in writing.
  19. I've got one. it fits on the mag tube.
  20. Hmm. That means the one I bought used was made in 2006. thanks!
  21. Okay. I have a modified. another quick question. Is shooting slugs like the Ranger LE Low Recoil slugs out of the modified choke ok?
  22. Hey all. I bought a used Benelli M4 and it only had one choke with it. There are no markings on it. The only thing that I have found that might identify it is that on the top, outer edge, in addition to the four cut outs for the choke wrench, are three little notches. Any ideas?
  23. Where are you finding the Surefire M80s. I looked at Surefire's website and they don't even list them.
