Leaving you with a cold cheek is what it is really good for .

The LaRue FUG looks to be a winner .

Bear in mind that the official Benelli M4 use and maintenance manual does not specify a break-in period. I wouldn't worry too much about breaking in the M4 in with a specific load. Rather, take the time as an opportunity to try out various brands with various loads with various shot sizes and slugs. I favor low-recoil loads such as the Winchester WINLITE WL1200, Fiocchi 12LE00BK and Federal Premium VitalShok PFC154 for self-defense use and have practiced with primarily those specific rounds. I went through about ten boxes each of 12LE00BK and PFC154.

Asking for posted pics .

Are they of similar build material? Similar build quality? Does the Knight's have a compartment for the storage of small items within the grip?
-
Any way to prevent the shell from ejecting after firing?
-
Any authorized Benelli dealer will be able to order a factory cylinder choke for you. I would shoot at least 2-1/4 oz. 4 shot to break in a new M4.

There is no spring inside the pistol grip assembly. Agreed. However, there is a discrepancy in the M4 box manual. Page 58 suggests the use of the firing pin... ...The associated image (fig. 40) clearly shows the bolt handle being used...

The Claw Tactical Sling looks neat. Did any of you M4 guys try it out yet?
-
May be off topic, but edited the online M4 PDF manual (as of 2008-04-07) to display English only, removed the Benelli symbol from all pages to simplify printing: http://www.lockplay.com/eM4Super90.pdf. Now to scan and do the same with the spare parts list...

Was considering a single-point as well. I just feel the M4 (non-entry w/ standard stock) is so heavy a dog that an offside weapon drop might be a bit awkward to control...
-
Which stock? With ghost ring rear? And will the original documents and box be included?

The federal AWB ban limiting the fixed capacity of semi-auto shotguns to five rounds expired on 2004-10-13. However, the GCA of 1968 continues to mandate for non-assault weapons a fixed magazine capacity less than, or equal to five rounds. The Gun Control Act of 1968, Public Law 90-618 (30) The term "semiautomatic assault weapon" means -- (D) a semiautomatic shotgun that has at least 2 of -- (i) a folding or telescoping stock; (ii) a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon ; (iii) a fixed magazine capacity in excess of 5 rounds ; and (iv) an ability to accept a detachable magazine.

Great series of lights. I have the M2, M3, M3T, M4 and M6 lights and favor the M3 for its size and output (MN21 for short bursts when the body is bored for 18650 Li-ion cells, or the WA1111 using the same cells). Offhand, I do not forsee any problems with the Malkoff/G2 combo. If anything, give it a shot and report back with results .

Outside of peace officer exemptions, it is illegal to purchase, or receive (i.e. own) an M4 with both a pistol grip and folding, or telescoping stock in CA. CA Penal Code Section 12276.1 (a) Notwithstanding Section 12276, "assault weapon" shall also mean any of the following: (6) A semiautomatic shotgun that has both of the following: (A) A folding or telescoping stock. (B) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon, thumbhole stock, or vertical handgrip. (7) A semiautomatic shotgun that has the ability to accept a detachable magazine. (8) Any shotgun with a revolving cylinder. Check with your local and state jurisdiction for a definitive answer.

Then the M900A will mount too far forwards for my tastes. Will wait on the Mesa modular rail system . Went with the factory extension. Will go the way of the EOTech 512.A65/1. Thanks, but I am not a fan of black oxide finishes. Representatives at Cal DOJ have brainwashed Caligvla .

Former M1 and current M4 11707 owner . A couple of questions: Outside of LaserMax, who makes a respected laser mount system? Is there a sightable tri-dot (ala Predator) system available? My planned mods are as follows and subject to change: Meprolight ML-34302 Sight Set (with appropriate front sight post) Quake Claw Tactical Sling (prefer their non-marring sling swivels) Mesa Tactical SureShell 6-Round (unless the Mesa FCAM intends to integrate the saddle)

I had considered the same and was met with a similar resposne..
