Call and check for when it went pending. Not always when the check is cashed.

I've played this game before (With a Design Products Ti bolt handle). Good luck to you!
-
Seriously? To a precisely machined titanium component joined to a precision heat-treated A2 steel component...you want to add PAINT!? Well, it's a good idea, I think, but I would take it a step further and have it Cerakoated. (However you spell it). Why Kip did not do this in the first place, I do not know. It would have eliminated color-matching issues and is plenty durable for the external knob surface. Maybe he will weigh in on why this was not done.

I have 555 currently
-
It better not be 666 or else I might be irresponsible...
-
It varies by who has them in stock. Just google around until you find someone who has them in stock at what seems to be the best price.
-
Haha, M1014's are getting somewhat rate. The only real advantage (which is debatable) is the fixed choke. Won't accept C-stock functionally.
-
I've grown rather fond of it and want to keep it all to myself...
-
Parkerizing is like that. It depends on the mixture, size of the zinc and other particles, and concentration of them in the "bath". It can vary.
-
Hey, it could have been worse! What if you had said: I really want Kip's over-sized black knob, and I'm willing to pay for it!
-
Maybe had oil on it, or maybe there was a slight chemical difference in the parkerizing bath. It happens. Was it grossly different?

The black one was a response to people who disagree, but I'm with you, the muted one looks just fine to me, also. I have owned both. The black one is a PVD finish, and is almost an exercise in "how precise/awesome/hardcore can this product be". The muted one won't cause any problems. Buy it, and if you want to flip it when the black one is in stock, buy that, and just wait until he is out of stock again and you will be fine to flip your muted one I bet.

Larry makes great grips. He made a set for me a few years ago to put on my Wilson Supergrade (bought back by Wilson, wish it ran better, I hate 1911's, my P226 is actually just about as accurate as it was and hasn't broken, blah blah blah...) :

Looking for a replacement recoil pad for M4 tactical
Unobtanium replied to trickyric's topic in Benelli
Note that she is in mid-recoil, as well. -
ETA is unknown. Both are dimensionally identical. The black one just has huge CDI factor because it matches well, and it's rather unobtanium.
-
Nice collection! How do you like the Gen 4 compared to the Gen 3? I need to replace my CCW (2010 Gen 3 G19 w/oem Trijicons).

Benelli MR1.... is there not a single owner of this beautiful rifle ???
Unobtanium replied to Shinyside's topic in Benelli
Too little, too late, not in use by any agency/country I am aware of, not tested to those standards that I know, etc. I guess the question is, in a world with the SCAR,M4,Galil,AK,AUG,etc....why an MR1? -
I do not have the power to make a sticky, but it would be nice. This question comes up often around here.

This is such a stupid game, I wish it weren't important and wasn't for keeps.

http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=23654/Product/FRONT-SIGHT-RETAINING-NUT Order a couple. They are very "soft" metal. While you are at it, these are often torn/nicked if you are careless. I remember having to send "Duggan" one to replace his when he nicked it cleaning the weapon after something like 10,000 rounds of sludge build-up and Brownells was out of stock at the time. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=6388/Product/FIRING-PIN-RETAINING-PIN-O-RING http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=23649/Product/GAS-PLUG-O-RING

Meprolite is the only game in town for tritium sights for the M4/M1014.

I have some Benelli Mobil (Fits M4 with interchangeable chokes, M1, Nova) choke-tubes. I don't really want to haggle over prices for them, and I don't have any use for them as my M1014 has a fixed choke, and I do not feel a need to buy another Benelli product at this time that would accept the Mobil tube. Here is the deal... If you want them, post up in this thread that you do.(2 Trulocks (MOD,IMOD), 1 Briley (IMOD), flush-fit Stainless). When you get them, I want you to send me a check for what they are worth to you. Don't send me a check for $5, and don't feel like you have to pay me 90% of retail or anything. Treat it like a polite deal between friends. Here is the catch... Just post up in the thread. I will PM who I want to send them to. This is at my discretion, not based on "first come, first serve". You will enhance your chances if you can tell me why you want them in your thread-post. Consider this somewhat of a Karma.

Not only is it gorgeous, it is the strongest Ti tube on the market, today, and Kip's tolerances are aerospace quality.
