  1. I do them for myself and others. I have done M1S90 and M4, as well as Maverick 88, mossy 500, Remington 870, and many, many rifles including the AR platforms. I do this by custom honing, and polishing, and when necessary, springs. It all depends on what I start with, and what is requested. I did a guys AR-15 while he waited, it took 20min, and he was so pleased he canceled his order for a trigger. ( he was here from VT, with two other guys to pick up a prototype WCI brake for a prairie dog hunting trip)
  2. The trigger can be reworked, and become very nice.

  4. You can drop one with a .270win
  5. The burris that is the size of an RDP-II is just awesome. there is no need to use a bulky ass Eotech.

    Dear Benelli

Please make sure your contractors all make the bbl. and FSB, MTH etc to the same dimensions. After doing quite a few of these I can honestly say I never know what size they will be. BBL diameters are varying (up to 0.015"), FSB and MTH are varying by up to 0.004" Now, that may not seem like much, but it does affect things, and looks like a huge difference. The bbl diameter being different had no excuse, you pay thhe subcontractors very well, not how about holding them to a standard? That is all, carry on...
  7. Yes it is me, hey who is your brother?
  8. $200.00 plus shipping, if materials keep going up in cost (silver, acetylene, O2 etc. I may have to raise prices by $20)
  9. This should also illustrate to you guys why I will NOT thread a bbl for a choke tube after cutting it down, the walls are then too thin. I will not ever endanger someone.
  10. NO!!!! Do Not even try!!!
  11. Use either the Hornady SST, or Winchester XP3 300 grain. they both are accurate, and travel at +- 2000fps It is not a rifle, so do not expect it to be as accurate as one. 2-3 MOA is certainly more than good enough at 100m

  13. sorry about the pics, but I am a firearms guy, not a photographer. In the pictures you can see that the FSB and the MTH are shimmed, and the refinishing job.

    M1S90 Loads

Guys, do yourselves a favor and take the MESA off of your shotgun. Mass creates problems with the inertia system. Practice tactical reloading from a vest, or belt. I use a stock mounted soft shell holder and have no problems, but I am lucky in that the holder is fabric, if you add much more weight, you can have problems. I do not approve of mounting something with that much mass, on the receiver with screws that are subject to stripping out.
  15. Yes it can prevent it from cycling.
  16. There is more to it than just cutting it down, there is reattaching the FSB, and MTH, as well as shimming, and refinishing. See my post about SBS/BBL work It is not something a novice can do, a class III dealer/smith screwed up one guys shotgun so bad it was almost worthless. It was harder to fix it for me, than it would have been for me to do it right the first time. I spent alot of time, and money to make up the tooling necessary to do this work right.
  17. Go to brownells, or Midway and get a picatinny rail section for the M1S90. Drill the rail with new holes, countersink them flat, and use Allen head srews with a flat base. Mount the rail in front of the Ghost ring, cantilever it out a bit(no reason to chop the rail) make sure you use blue locktite on the rail, and the screws.

    SBS/BBL work

Hi I was asked to make a post in here regarding bbl work /shortening and refinshing. I have been doing Benelli bbls for a few years, and have a pretty good reputation for quality work. I shorten, shim, and re-parkerize so that it looks like the factory did it themselves. If you are in need of such services, please do not hesitate to ask, I will answer all questions promptly, and with as much detail as I can impart. All work is done in a timely manner, and comes with a warranty for workmanship, and materials used. I also do trigger tuning. If the bbl is to be shortened, please provide a copy of your approved form 1 with your bbl, so that we all can avoid problems. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
