  1. well now that cant be right did he properly oil and clean the vinci first? and always shoot 4 or 5 boxes of 1 1/8th and then go to 1 once, if he still has the problem flood the inerita system with oil " spray about half can oil on it" and then just wipe off exes oil after but let some sink in it, that will 110% fix the problem
  2. well so what exactly is your problem? maybe I can help i fiddled with my shims for awhile
  3. I shoot 1 and an eighth, but i used to shoot one ounce and no probs through atleast 1000
  4. now I bought the birchwood casey shell catcher and its awful well for me atleast mested up my sight alignment for competition cost me alot of targets just bad, so since its required I have a catcher my mom actually took elastic and sewed it to the exact size so i just slide it on and off wen needed no tape just like a rubber band but not a big blue or some color sticking out, my gun is black so she got black elastic, just a sugestion
  5. yup both great guns but the vinci has just that extra that makes it come allitle ahead of the others, and again exactly right 3" is all thats needed
  6. im actually looking at two new calls to add to my collection the duck commander green mile and the duck commander sarge, but i want to ask for a duck commander 72 series in burnt hedge wood for christmas. im almost as addicted to duck calls as I am to duck hunting:D
  7. now this is just what I think 5 or 6 clubs say ill try to get the names of the places from the guy who goes but i think its kinda the same sitiation here with waterfowlers getting tired of shooting the biggest shell they can and start shooting 20g for the challeng atleast allitle more challenge but I know its some clubs in canadas rules that you cant shoot anything over 3"
  8. you cant actually take it off in the field and switch in for quik extra three shots if u take the mag tube out while the whole gunis together it wont stay up becouse one of the connections is when you turn the tube in
  9. yep my grandpa gave me two of the old now antique ps olts the 66 and dr 115 right after I started my collection and I wanna use them this year atleast a few times just see what happends. and I practice my calls atleast 30 mins a day i dont know if its neccasary or not but maybe it will help
  10. heres my opinion, if he has longer arms the vinci would probabley fit better sounds stupid but my friend has a sbe2 and we went sporting clay shooting a couple weeks ago and we shoot trap reguarly so I took a few shots with his and it comes up too short for me but the vinci slides into place perfect even with all my waterfowl gear on if hes got shorter arms ide go with a sbe2, now were I hunt we decoy our ducks so 3.5 isnt neccasary. yet my friend just likes the bragging rights of being twig shaped and shooting 3.5 and he hunts same conditions as me. and the vinci has actually been field tested and proven to preform better than the sbe not in ducks yet but pheasent and dove. and they shoot about the same honestly his jams alot more mine has never jamed and i shoot about 250 shells a week outa it. dont get me wrong I love both guns it just depends your condidtion, and actually speeking of canada hunting my sisters husband goes hunting in random places out in canada for geese and all the guides that are out there shoot 2 and three quarter, witch is real interesting for those geese and sopposabley they reccomend using 2 and three quarter some dont even allow 3.5 depends were your going in my opinion you can take down waterfowl like a sportsman with 2 and three quarter Im shooting three inch this year just couse I wanna try it but ill probably still buy some 2 and three quarter shells
  11. well how many times have you patterned your let me guess TRAP gun:D compared to a kicks highflyer choke out of a benelli? maybe that will give you a nice answer becouse one of my friends has a peraze or however you spell it mx2000 and it has few but some holes and 1 or 2 stray bbs:eek: the kicks does not it has no holes no strays both mod
  12. well actually u r the one who know's everything according to you:rolleyes:. and I will just I have to wait till the trap club puts the pattern board out. and let me ask you this how much duck hunting do you do? obviusly alot right? you sound like you must have a ton of experience
  13. why do you want a recoil pad for the vinci?, mine has no kick
  14. nah ported chokes work nicer for steel same as full blown trapshooters port there barrel it works better not neccasarly recoil or muzzle jumy in the chokes but pattern wise
  15. well I bought it with graduation money from my grandparents becouse I knew it was the best waterfowl choke out there:cool: and why do you think on the box of black cloud were its got the pattern board they used a kicks highflyer? and I do gather alot more information than you think from websites to the field and figuring out what workes best and what doesent stays at home:)
  16. huh thats funnyI wonder why it works for me?
  17. well that sucks for some people. I guess if it works for me it must not work for anyone else haha.
  18. actually you are wrong on both kicks high flyer is a steel choke so it is a mod pattern steel, and no duck commander says that the benelli montefeltro is no good so he doesent just say that, and he says those new decoys he got sponsored buy still dont look right and tells people dont buy em. duck hunting is like my life so i kinda know this stuff. and actually my dad told me after i ordered the kicks that those r the ones duck commander uses
  19. I also went to a duck calling seminar and they used acrylics but i still think wood sounds the best just more authentic to me. i like old time stuff
  20. well i have a kicks highflyer and its ported all the way around and phil robertson uses the same one and he shoots black cloud so its gotta be ok
  21. I bought a kicks highflyer and i really like it, i havent shot waterfowl with it yet but i got it in mod because i decoy my ducks and with lead its an imp cylinder so, perfect for dove and it made the cleanest kills and ide still get cripples with my crios but when I patternd my crios they had no holes so benelli crios are a darn good choke if you ask me. but the main reason I got the kicks was becouse duck commander uses them and i figured its gotta be good or he would say somthing about it. so definetly check out the kicks they have a new one called vortex i think its probably great too.
  22. now i am having the same issue with shooting high and to the left but i want to pattern it again to be sure and this was with the full or mod benelli choke so ill find out tonight the guy watching thought i moved but i dont know if not i hope i dont need to send it to benelli Italy is a long ways away to send a gun:confused:, but i started dove hunting today and that is a load of fun nothing beats duck hunting for me but this was fun to catch those things i ended up with three not a whole lotta brds but quite a few and i had perfect clean kills with my kicks high flyer mod choke that thing works perfect but im worried its the barrel shooting to the left
  23. that's one of my favorite parts about my benelli is that it shoots allitle high so i can see the bead and target or bird rather than covering with the barrel with my 870
  24. well no one posted but i ordered it and i got it and the sound is great beats the heck out of my plastic morwhistle, it sounds completely identical to my antique wood morwhistle my grandpa gave me but this one just has alot more different calls its really nice defenetly worth the money i love mine its goin on my lanyard for sure. im sure the wood one sounds just as good as the buffalo horn that i got its probably just fancier.
