  1. S**T happens, even with Benellis. Did you think to contact Benelli customer service? Bet they can reverse the cycling problem...or if the gun is really "junk", bet they'd replace it. Did you call Cabelas or contact them for a warranty repair? My hunting partner bought a Super Vinci two months ago and hasn't had the hint of a problem with it...as a matter of fact he can shoot 1oz target loads, which surprized me, and he now swears by it...shoots trap, sporting clays and occasionally skeet...never a problem. Like I said, s**t happens sometimes..if you don't like it, get it fixed and sell it.

I had a lab once that wasn't worth two cents in the field, wouldn't retrieve and didn't care much for cold water. I didn't give up on her though, worked with her for over a year and now she can make 100 yard blind retrieves and loves her little neoprene vest. She wasn't very good "out of the box" but with a bit of maintenance and training I'm happy as a lark.

Don't let this "bump in the road" get to you...give Benelli a chance to right the wrong. I'd bet you're not a quitter!

  2. "installing a speed bead where can i get the tool for the stock retaining nut?"

Do you have or have access to a set of socket wrenches with an extention? I believe the nut is metric...size? I think it is close to 1/2" but not sure. A pretty simple process though.

  3. In order to "iron out" the kinks of a Saiga...it'll cost upwards of $1200+ the cost of the gun to do so. By that time, the money is better spent on an M4...Saigas will never be ultra-reliable without the added costs and there just isn't enough public interest to warrant anything more than mild industry efforts to do so.

  4. You said you've owned the gun for about 2 years...did you buy it new ,and if so, you should have a warranty claim. If the finish is peeling rather than wearing off through use, I'd think it would be covered by the Benelli warranty.

Contact Benelli customer service, they'll be the ones to talk to...and be specific. Good luck.

  5. An EO should be moot also, but a Presidential Executive Order, whether Constitutional or not, becomes law simply by its publication in the Federal Registry. Congress is by-passed.

"Congress needs to take more effective action to check presidential usurpations of legislative power and restore the constitutional structure of government." It is clearly up to us, we the people, to keep watch and make sure that Congress does their due diligence in protecting "we the people".

When the Constitution of the United States was framed it placed the exclusive legislative authority in the hands of Congress and with the President. Article I, Section 1 of the United States Constitution is concise in its language, "All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives." That is no longer true.

The Bill of Rights protected Americans against loss of freedoms. That is no longer true. The Constitution provided for a balanced separation of powers. That is no longer applicable.

Perhaps it can be summed up succinctly in the words of arch-conservative activist Howard J. Ruff. "Since the enactment of Executive Order 11490, the only thing standing between us and dictatorship is the good character of the President, and the lack of a crisis severe enough that the public would stand still for it."

  6. I agree, he should lose his hunting priviledges for life. Part of the plea was an additional year of no hunting added onto the 13 months prison + 1 year of no hunting.

"Further, Foiles agreed to one additional year, following completion of his term of supervised release, during which he will not hunt or guide."

Here's the kicker though, it ain't a done deal yet.

"The court must determine whether or not to accept the plea agreements. If the plea agreements are accepted by the court, the government has agreed to dismiss the pending felony indictment against Foiles."

  7. No M4 here...haven't even considered one, but I'm a Benelli fanatic...I'm just a bird/clay man

    1-HK/SBE

    1-Synthetic SBE(sold it)

    2-20ga Montefeltros(sold 1)

    1-Vinci

A well priced Legacy is on my wish list

  8. Limbsaver does have "grind to fit" pads. If you have a good local gunsmith, you can have a "grind to fit" Limbsaver installed or you may wand to ad a 1/4" spacer or two between the stock and the butt pad. Get creative, afterall, it's your son/daughter's first shotgun ,right? If you can't do it I'd bet you know someone who can. :o

  9. It is the "mid bead" sight that fell out. Contact Benelli customer service and I'm quite sure they would send you a replacement or you could take it to your local gunsmith and have them install a replacement.

check out Numerich part key:153A product#:1167610D Middle Sight Bead $16.05 - listed on the SBE schematic and it is the same part number(153A-itermediate sight)in my Vinci schematic. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Products.aspx?catid=10326

  10. it means it's not a serious problem that can effect the performance of a shooter

In my opinion, correct...only if the shooter allows it to be a problem will he/she be effected...:)

example...I wasn't particularly pleased with the recoil(wood stocked HK/Benelli SBE) of a 3-1/2", 1-9/16 load at the range but I didn't even notice the heavier recoil while hunting...my mind was on the hunting and not thinking about the felt recoil. If that makes any sense...

  11. I added a Cordoba 20 gauge to my safe and sold the included set of Extended Crio Plus chokes to a buddy. I have a flush Modified, which covers 95% of the hunting I do with it. Just wondering where I can buy a I.C. flush fitting tube. I can't find them online?

Check with your local Benelli dealer or check on Gunbroker.com. I picked up a flush skeet1 choke and a choke tool on Gunbroker for a reasoable price. You can also check Carlson's chokes for flush fit.

  12. some people mentioned that it hits the middle finger when the gun is fired and that's the reason why it was redesigned in the super vinci...? I find it hard to beleive but since I have never handled a vinci so am curious.

Yes, that is correct. I have experienced that myself, although very briefly, the first time I took it out to the range. No problems since though.

  13. ok and thanks alot. one thing more, if i want to be a member of Team Benelli?? or atleast i get a single chance to hunt with them?? so how??

as i am a fresh graduate (Petroleum Engineer) and Hunting is my passion. I often go for hunting to different places here in Pakistan.
