  2. i dont see anything special about the urbino!!! i like my OEM c-stock, especially since its legal on my shorty now!! NO MORE 922 horsesh-t any more to worry about!!!!!!!!!:D SBS is the ONLY way to go.....;)

Need to see a scan of that nice M4 with the 8" barrel.

  3. I just bought a benelli M-4 and was wondering if you could help me out. I just took a look at your pics and I'm in amazement. All of my weapons are of a tactical nature and I'm looking to do the same with my M-4. I only want the best and it looks like you do to. If you could help me out and tell me where to get the tactical parts needed I would greatly thankful. I'm thinking about the collapsable butt-stock, mag ext, rails, ETC. Thank you for your time and consideration. Luckymac
Hookster would be more qualified than me. I own just one M4. The Stocks are hard to come buy. I was lucky to buy one for $400.00 Cash from a individual. The Magazines are all over the spectrum. Price, type of metals used, and your needs.

I just added some MG42 Photos with German Tr****.

  5. New M4 user. Obtained M80 via Surefire's website direct. Do any M80 users know if any additional securing is required other than "prying" it on ? It feels very secure but based on the M4's recoil and gas ejection I would have felt better with some type of additional mouting hardware.

As far as the unit itself, It appears highly functional although the lines where it meets barrel are not as clean and defined as the factory's

Look@ my scans in my profile. I am verry pleased with this system 110%. zee10103

  6. I noticed that all new 3.5" guns beside the mossbergs have 3 locking lug rotating bolt. Now the 3 lugs with rotating bolt is not as smooth.Yesterday i was shooting my p-350 which has a 3 lug bolt etc and the lugs would not release from the chamber.

I though i was going to have to destroy my bolt to get it loose . I finally got it free after some mishandling...so if this is hard to read i got a neck cramp

    Why buy a Mosserburgers?

  7. Hey guys, hate to interupt the political thread, but this should only take a second....:D

Got my self 2 kz rail systems for my twin M4's and I was trying put one together last night and Im having a bit of a problem...

Seems pretty straight forward, though they didint come with instructions... Im guessing that you are to remove the barrel and slide the rail over it, then slide that over the mag tube, and should all lock together. But my probelm is it doesnt slide over the stock dummy +2 mag extension tube. The extension tube gets wedged in the bottom of the inside of the KZ rail. Is this normal?

I have ordered 2 kip's tubes but for the time being, I have the extention tubes installed.

Do any of you all know if this rail wont work withthe extension tubes or am I installing them wrong?

    TIA!

I have some scans @ my Home page. May help you out.

  8. What seems to be the standard in a two or three point sling for the M4? Something that will utilize the factory attachments and wont roll over on the user.

I posted some scans @ my Home Page. The Sling System I use is Functional and will not break the Bank. I still do not know how to place a scan on one of these forums.

  9. Great work. It doesn't matter how much it costs or how many get sold. Just having the details posted on the Internet is very helpful (to me:cool:)

Confidentially, i'm working on my own version.

    1) Buy 2 suitable "piston blanks", e.g. Brownell's SKU #:301-000-512 (or use the two that came in your M4)

    2) Make substantive changes to the piston blanks:

    a) Stone off any sharp edges

    b) Heat treat by alternating between a refrigerator and kitchen counter to to "relax" the metal.

    c) Demagnetize the blank.

    d) Polish portions of the shaft.

    e) File a flat on the blank.

    f) Go to the Mall

    g) Stop by "Things Remembered"

    h) Have them engraved "Made in USA"

Note: Steps a-e are optional. Its simpler to say you purchased the items from "some guy" on the Benelli forum.

If you use the "piston blank" turnings that came in your M4, your total cost will be $9/piston for the engraving. If you tell them these are gifts for your Grandma, who happens to be named "Ursula Stanford Abrahms", and just get her initials engraved, it's only $3/piston!

YOU GUYS WORRY WAY TOO MUCH!

I am pulling my two pistins out today. I will Gold Plate them both and Stamp USA 32703. Thanks for the ID.

  10. The whole thing is like a Kafka novel. You can't win, heck you can't even learn the rules. Even the folks with letters from the ATF... ARE NOT SAFE! There is no precedent that the letter will save your butt (or even your gun). The "man" has been inconsistent in answering our inquiries and some of the letters posted were not even signed by a person. They reserve the right to change their mind anytime they feel like it and there is no guarantee you will even get your day in court. If they want you, the part count will suddenly change to 15.

As to the "Made in USA" security blanket, there are not any real rules except for textiles, furs, and automobile parts. Our wonderful gubment cannot agree on what "Made in USA" actually means, much less write any coherent laws, regulations, or rules on the subject. I just proved that a part stamped "Made in USA" can be counterfeited for $3! I have to imagine the burden of proof is on you! Can you prove where the steel was originally smelted? What about all the additives and alloys? It's a false security, you're chasing after some vague 922r compliance and stepping into a whole new world of vague FTC "Country of Origin" compliance issues.

Why is everyone doing this? My M4 with PG stock will blow just as big a hole in someone as the "Tacticool" version. You are risking a lot for vanity. If you really "need" the "evil" features...and are worried about 922r compliance...buy another gun!

Man, I want you to represent me in Court when I am charged with a ATF violation. You could make a dirt bag of the Trail, look like a sweet and innocent Angel.

  11. Anyone have a good takedown video for the M4? I am going want to replace my regular stock with a PG stock and I am wondering if this is possible and just how hard it will be?
The Manual will show you how easy it is to do. A 4 Min Task.
