Makes me sick. I vote we sell California. We no longer want it. IF we can sell it, we might just have to give it away.

or gun laws suck but other than that and a few silly thing we have the best weather in the states everyone wishes they were here. who wants to be in a place where it snows and you freeze in winter and cooks you in summer the second you walk outside you are drippin wet,lol ya sounds fun.

The hammer should not cause any issues. Geissele is actually the company that is replacing many of the KAC fire control groups in military weapons. Their stuff is solid, and has a track record for being successful.
I always wondered if anyone had any problems. did you swap out yours? if so was it for 922 or cuz you wanted upgrade?
I do swap triggers on my ARs but no other gun have I ever messed with. seems weird to me that in my ARs I feel fine but any other and I feel its not safe. humm maybe cuz i build the AR and i dont think of it as replace more as just building. I dont know I am wacky
anyways have you heard any bad storys about the replaced parts? is there a noticable better difference?

It's true that I could have bought a Mossberg 930 SPX. It's also true that the Benelli M4 is a superior shotgun. But the Benelli costs more than 2x as much. Is it twice as good? Depends who you ask. I felt it was worth it, even though it wasn't made in the USA.
I am not trying to mess with you but point is made you dont care where its made you want the best gun,part what ever. nothing wrong with that I am same way.

+1, I think the GG&G bolt release is even a bit large, for my taste, and opted for a custom setup that was smaller:
yup love that release! I dont feel the stock one is that bad. the big giant pad is way to big. this one you have looks like it would be perfect for me. you make it? or buy it?

do any other surefires come with strobe? wish the scout did.

I like this due to the strobe mode but the price is silly and dont even have a laser at that price

Hey Rocket I just took my Surefire off too along with my Sidearmor rails.. I'm looking at a couple different lightweight mounting options for an x300....I'll keep you posted.

yes I just seen that Marpat looks cool gonna do my AR in that style next.
I know most dont wanna paint a new gun but I kind of had to.
I had the desert camo then added cstock, kips tube and 14" barrel there was to many black parts so I felt the time to change. I took off my surefire forend with X400 want to find a better way to mount the X400. but that was even more black.

I'm not sure what M4 I have. I don't think there's a flag on it. Does the flag mean it's a M1014 model?
yes the m1014 is the old version with the flag on it.

I've been wanting a M4 for a long time now, but around here in CA all of them are $1,899 and just a few months back when I was about to buy one in March they were $1,799. So on 7/23/12 I opted for the Mossberg 930 SPX which I pick up on 8/2/12. It was a lot cheaper than the Benelli so it made sense to get it. Anyway, I've been thinking how I still wanted the M4 so I called some shops for prices and all were higher than I wanted to pay. I decided to go to my local gun store since they don't give prices over the phone and their prices on the M4 were the same as everyone else's. While talking to who I assume was the shop owner he proceeded to tell me "I just got a used Benelli M4 in the other day that was never fired."
I asked to check it out and after comparing it with the new ones in the store he says... "See you thought I was bullshitting you huh? I told you it was never fired." I checked it out long and hard very carefully and I asked "how much?" He said "I'll give it to you for $1,400 if you buy it right now AND I won't even add tax." I thought I was getting a smoking deal so I jumped on it without thinking twice. I asked why the previous owner didn't shoot it and he said the guy is a gun collector and he brought it in to trade for a Desert Eagle.
Should I get an extended mag tube? If so what companies make quality ones? I'm located in California so I think it has to be 922r compliant or something like that. What about a after market charging handle?

always heard good thing about them. but never used one or even seen one in person. I got ride of my surefire also and was just thing about getting one of these the other day. how often do you clean your shot gun? might not be that bad?

My Sidearmor rail came with Locktite 222MS. I looked up the spec sheet before I put it on.

I didnt think loctite was needed but wanted to be 100% I didnt crank down on them but I also dont have any TQ type tools at all. So I will just keep eye on the ones not covered by XPS.
Amsdorf did you check screws from factory of just started shooting? If I notice and loose screws i will use the 242 like Kips mentioned.
I also just painted gun and got it put together I will post pictures as soon as I can get my kid to take some,lol I only have camera phone.

Ok we all know I aint the smartest and cant spell and now you will know I have no clue if loctite is needed when mounting kips rail? I assume the lil lock washer looking thing are enough?
I have Eotech xps going on it.
I searched for the answer but got easly side tracked reading stuff that was not even close to what I was looking for. One thread started out with the title mounting kips rail. 2 posts in and the thread was all about velcro shell holders.lol

yup you are a good dude. I sent you my desert camo dummy tube so you could match it on your full length tubes for color painting. Some how you knew I wanted a new spring and sent me one for free. I guess you read it on the fourms? anyways just a lil tiny thing like that is huge in my eyes.

Just a little north of $1500. It's like new, not a mark on it. Box, instructions, and warranty card. I'm going to upgrade the recoil tube to a 3-position and maybe a full-length tube. Very happy.
Ya that is good price I would be happy paying that if i had extra cash. hopefully I do before they are all gone or go way up in price.
def get the full length tube. I and most here have CC Ti tube and love the fit and finnish it is amazing.

lol texas where you cant even go outside! I could sell my truck and buy a house in texas. not saying my truck is great just say the demand for living in texas sucks worse than the weather.
