  1. I'm looking to get a Benelli M4 Tactical Shotgun. For my boyfriend and I'm trying to find a good price and also maybe a few other things that he might like to go along with it. So if you could be some help I would gladly welcome it.

we have a member here uno damn I can not spell his user name, lol but he has one for sale with I belive a few 922 parts and a full length tube. I belive he has a C-stock for sale also maybe a package deal? he should see this post monday and post what and if he still has it.

  2. just curious, what happened to yours?

I had the desert camo version then like a nut job decided to coat it in a skull camo pattern. I did not send in the handguards cuz i had the surefire M80. I decided I didnt want he M80 so now i am stuck with either a desert camo handgaurd or I have to get the FFT one.

  3. How much is a 18" brand new Benelli M4 barrel worth?

not sure where I seen them but they are up there in the 900-1000 range. when i was in the same boat as the op. that was what had me get a 14" and not cut my 18" it was worth to much, lol plus I just wanted both

  4. A M4 Fixed Stock SBS = $3,300

    A M4 Collapsible Stock SBS = $3,800 +

    14" M4 barrel = $900

According to my calculations it would be much cheaper to convert a $1,500 gun than drop over 3K +.

Yes buy the factory barrel way cheaper and you still have the 18" if wanted. The stock mag tube fits perfect but Kip has been know to make a TI tube also if you ask him. My stock short tube weights so much more than my full length TI tube it is funny actually. one day I will ask kip to make me a lil TI tube also or ill wait untill he just sells them

  5. Strike up the band because I am ready to lead.

I posted once before about being on vacation in Pensacola and being invited to Kip's home. When I arrived at 9am both of his hands were in casts and he had worked all night in his shop. He had my products ready and offered to install them and then proceeded to install my magazine tube. He took the time to explain his products and made it an all around good experience.

Put me on the fanboy/bandleader list of a great guy with superior products!

LOL, he had 2 casts on and you let him install your tube. thats funny but it shows the guy is legit. I dont call him i dont email him thats just silly waste of his time. I just order pay and get great product.

  6. Oooo-kay. Now that Rocket has been thoroughly flogged:

I haven't got a stock forend stock for sale (I'm keeping mine) but I am running with a FFT forend. The finish is great. The fit is not so great, but it is serviceable. There is some movement in there which may cause a creaking or cracking sound if the forend is squeezed a certain way. It doesn't bother me, but a fellow with a grip like Superman might find that it creaks too much for his liking. It is the cheapest option out there if you want to modify your M4 and remain 922r-compliant. Judging from your post, it would seem that complaince is not a concern for you, and--assuming that is correct--I'd have to agree that the OEM forend stock would be preferable over the FFT one. I'm sure there are some out there on the secondary market, but I wouldn't be suprised if you could order one directly from Benelli USA either. They probably sell replacement parts as long as those parts are on a model that is sold in the United States.

great info thank you. I was afraid of the FFT hand gaurd not being so nice.

  7. Yes new frontier

I think your right if it has to have a tape switch it will be almost same as my X400

I have a FVG from sure fire with built in light maybe I will stick it on to see looks. My guess is it's to big and bulky

Or I might just try and find a stock hand guard again, lol

  8. Raid is $630 bucks shipped. Man I am on the fence still to high for a freakin light that flashes. It does come with a tape switch and I belive thoes are 100+ bucks but I dont even want the tape switch.

  9. from what I can tell the Raid has a Clicky push botton also My guess is you could use either or? also "looks" like the "Raid" sits foward of the mount unlike the X400 that sits right in the center.

damn $750 thats no deal, lol I gotta call my guy and see. he gave me my X400 $330 and M80 for $180 out the door

  10. The X400 was there(bottom) but I am to big I need my hand more foward and the X400 is long specially with the tape switch pluged in back.

now dual lights would be funny specialy if they strobed I would look like a discotec.

I have a pretty good conection for surefire I am gonna see how much I can get the "Raid" for if its in the 500s I might get one. Or wait for the non IR version

  11. I have a slight case of OCD or what ever letters it is that I need things to be straight and neat. I have the gearsector off set mount now with my X400 and I can not take it. I have to mount the light on the bottom rail I know silly but thats just the way it is.

TLR 1 and 2 have strobe but seem big the TLR 3 is super small just dont know anything about them quailty wise.

  12. You're going with the 14" barrel on the M4 right?

What rail system are you mounting the light with?

I am gonna keep the M80

    look at this beast http://www.surefire.com/M720V

I am not cheap at all but $800 bucks is nutz. I guess the IR makes the price go up?

someone also said the TLR3 that looks cool and small and very well priced just not sure of there quality

  13. I am taking my X400 of the M4 and moving it to my HK ump (clone)

I still want a light but it has to be small I also perfer a push button cap at the back over the tape switch. If at all possable a strobe would be perfect.

any suggestions? price dont matter but I would like quailty.

thanks as always for your time.

  14. From what I was told by my attorney, you are not subject to 922 if your weapon is NFA registered. You still have to carry your form 4 with you while transporting the weapon. All the feds want is to know you are a Trustee of the weapon, that you have the tax stamp, you can prove who you are, and that you have your form 4. You have to remember that police are not lawyers or experts in the law. ****, half don't know anything beyond simple traffic law. You may come across one that wants to be an @ss and feels he will be top cop of the day by taking you to jail, but you won't stay very long. Unless you do something stupid like run, fight, spit, or shoot at him. Which case you might end up dead or wish you were. I keep a copy of my Trust, Form 4, valid I'D, tax stamp, my attorneys business card with phone number, and good manners when I take my SBS anywhere. Most of the time they will ask to shoot it if you are at a range. Some may offer to buy, but they always try to low ball you. Has anyone else here had anything different happen to them?

    same stuff I was told.

the question of the day is your last sentence. "has anyone heard anything different happen"

No I have not read of 1 single person ever getting questioned about 922r with or with out being a legal SBS.

I know for a fact there are alot of M4s running arounf not in 922r complyance shoot we just got the part to finally do it.

But if it is not easy to find a stock handgaurd then Stranger has a good point just think of it as a upgrade (hopefully it is) and 922 at the same time.

  15. From what everyone tells me after its registered I do not have to follow 922r anymore. there are a few threads here where I read this and my dealer said the same.

could all these people be wrong? maybe but where else can I find anwsers? even before the 14" conversion I still was not 922r I dont think anyone cares about it. Or I just been lucky and not in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

actually I have the regular stock tube going back on so I dont think I need 922r parts regardless?

  16. I wont need 922 after my trust is done but I have thought of just getting one. Just not sure I will like it the stock set up is perfect to me.

i have a desert camo one but I coated my gun and it wont match many more, lol
