  1. Get a +4. It will stick out slightly from the barrel but you will have 8+1+1 of 2 3/4" shells ready for zombie ops. 10 rounds is also the max for CA right? Then get an extended crenulated tactical choke that will extend past the tube to use as a stand off device. It will also look alot better than having the tube stick out past the barrel with out the choke. Not to mention the very useful zombie stabing ability if you run out of ammo:D
  2. I use the stock ghost ring sights with full power federal or winchester super X 2 3/4" rifled slugs.
  3. Will an M2 tube work on a M1? I thought they could accept some of the same parts.
  4. Im not worried at all. I got this guy in my local neighborhood watch group and he eats pit bull bacon and doberman sausage for breakfast..
  5. Its great practice for waves of zombie birds and traditional zombies, if they ever were to combine forces in order to feast on the living.
  6. I find the ghost rings very easy to use because I have used them on rifles both growing up and in the military. I never really got used to the bead sight or the blade type sights on shotguns. For some, mostly old school shotgun guys, they cant seem to use the ghost rings for clay or trap use because the rear sight "gets in the way". Its second nature to me, as soon as I shoulder the weapon I dont even see the rear sight, and I focus on the front sight post. I use the protective side ears as a reference point to lead the target if needed. A fun drill (only allowed if you are at a real range ) is to have one round of skeet loaded in the chamber followed by a slug in the tube. Have a buddy throw a clay for you and take it out with the trap load or birdshot of your choice then use the slug to hit any target from 50-100 yards (I use a 32oz gatorade bottle at 100 yards). I fill the tube 8+1 alternating between bird shot and slugs and go from clay to bottle, clay to bottle until the tube is empty. This will really improve your ability to get the sight picture fast, and on target. Good Luck
  7. I have to wait until christmas for mine. If I run into any zombie Santa Clauses before then I might have to run under the tree and tear through the gift wrap to get to mine.
  8. I can hit 32oz Gatorade bottles at 100 yards all day long with both winchester and federal slugs.
  9. My M4 has alot less recoil than my M2 tactical. I think its because its inertia driven and its really light compared to the M4. Thats why I only shoot 2 3/4 shells in the M2 tactical now. 2 3/4 slugs, 00 and 000 buck kick alot more than you would think. Winchester AA super handicap works the best for me when its comes to high volume clay shooting. I can shoot about 100 before my shoulder gets really bruised. If you want to shoot 3 inch with less recoil get an M4 or get a SBE so you can use 3 1/2!
  10. I can hit clays with my M2 tactical PG with ghost rings all day long. I can out shoot my brother law when he uses his mossberg 500 28" vent rib barrel with bead sight. Its so nice having a semi that can get 3-4 shots off in the same time he can only get 1 maybe 2 at the most.
  11. Next time these undead or E.T. types try to trespass on my property they are getting a pistol bayonet to the face.. http://www.laserlyte.com/Pistol_Bayonet/PB-1/PB-1.html
  12. Looks really well done. Now to go setup my DVR to record this show.
  13. All that zombie killing got me hungry so I made my self a snack. After the meal I went back outside and all the dead zombies were gone. There must have been more out there that came back and picked up the the remains of their fallen comrades.
  14. I think Im going to end up getting this rail and shell carrier in the near future. I too ran into a small zombie army the other night in my boxers... fortunately for me I was also wearing this... http://www.antipersonnel.net/fmco/001.html#3 When I ran out of rounds, I went with a more simple solution... http://www.antipersonnel.net/fmco/009.html
  15. Antiquated or not its still an extra 72 dead zombies rig.
  16. Get would get this: CLBV-M5 12 GA SHOTGUN This CLBV-M5 variation is available in either 48 or 72 round capacity, and has either 4 or 6 of our 12 GA SHOTGUN SHELL POUCHES replacing the standard double magazine pouches on each side of the vest, 48 round vest has 2 utility pouches. Shell pouches are plastic reinforced to prevent shell sag and give you instant access to 48 or 72 rounds of 12 GA ammo. http://www.antipersonnel.net/fmco/001.html#3 Or you could just get a couple of these 12 GA SHOTGUN SHELL POUCH Holds 12 each 12 gage shotshells up to 3 1/2 inch, each shell in individual cells. Plastic reinforced bottom, back, and flap to prevent shell sag. Available with ALICE Silent clasp buckle or non-adjustable Q/R buckle, and universal suspension loop with ALICE belt clips or Molle webbing straps. One drain hole in bottom. http://www.antipersonnel.net/fmco/005.html#2 I like this part: OUR BACKGROUND We have been designing and manufacturing load bearing equipment since 1983. The designers military background is B11 mechanised infantry and B12 combat engineers. We design our products for real world military combat operations, and they have been combat proven world wide since the 1980's. We use the same design criteria as the U.S. ARMY NATICK RESEARCH CENTER. All our products are field tested in their design phase by active duty personnel for ergonomic interface and durability in the field. This is good and very funny too: COMMUNIST AND SWEAT SHOP FREE PRODUCTS Many manufactures and suppliers are importing textile products made by CHILD labor and SLAVE labor in sweatshops in Asia, South Korea, Hati, Mexico, Communist China, and Communist Vietnam - the same communists who murdered and tourtured friends of mine. Every dollar you spend on these imported textiles from Communist countries helps prop-up and maintain murderous dictatorships who would not hesitate to put a bullet in the back of your head, or your wife's and child's head. FABRICATION MATERIALS We don't use any MESH cloth in our product line, mesh cloth is mostly air and has too little body required for directly attaching heavy magazine and grenade pouches. When your running in the field sweating in your 10 pound body armor the mesh ventilation is mostly irrelevant to cooling. Mesh is best used for laundry bags to wash ladies undergarments. We don't use any VELCRO in our product line. VELCRO makes way too much noise and is not durable enough for use on any of our products. Opening VELCRO pouches can be heard up to 100 YARDS away - that can give up your position and draw fire killing you or your whole squad. Any one who tells you making extra noise in combat dosen't matter, or having equipment that makes noise in combat doesn't matter, won't live long enough to find out that it does matter. Put that guy on point, just to be on the safe side. We don't use any ZIPPERS on our vest products. There is a good reason for that because if you catch fire wearing a nylon vest with a zipper it will FUSE SHUT from the burning nylon cloth and webbing and stop you from getting the burning garment off - you WILL THEN BURN TO DEATH (!). This HAS happened to GI's and thats why military armor, and our vests, don't have zippers.
  17. I use winchester AA super handicap for my M2 tactical. They are around $7 a box at wally world. I have never had any malfunctions using this ammo with the extended tube 8+1. Shoots accurate, fast and clean. The grey shells look cool too.

    X-Rail

Looks too heavy and that much extra wieght on an inertia driven M1 or M2 will make the weapon less reliable. Who care if you have 14 extra round if the weapon wont cycle properly. Reliablity always comes first.
  19. Very nice! Now all you have to do is get the Urbino stock with the cheek riser to properly use that T-1.
  20. http://riflegear.com/p-854-benelli-mr1-comfortech.aspx I dont really like the factory PG stock on the MR1. It looks like they just slapped on a comfortech stock. I think I might like this alot better than the PG stock.
  21. http://riflegear.com/p-854-benelli-mr1-comfortech.aspx The MR1 is CA legal with out the PG stock. You can also use preban hicap AR mags if you have them, like you can with all the other feature less rifles out there.
  22. This is from the catalog: The Urbino Tactical stock, named after the city in northern Italy where Benelli Armi SpA is headquartered, is a fixed-length shotgun stock made in the USA from injection-molded glass-filled nylon. Developed to meet the needs of law enforcement and military operators, the rugged Urbino Tactical stock features a “tactical” 12½ inch length of pull (LoP), soft urethane rubber grip, optional Limbsaver® butt pad, optional adjustable cheek riser and a variety of flexible sling mounting options. The reduced LoP makes the Urbino the first truly tactical stock for the Benelli M4. A shorter stock is necessary for use in tactical applications, especially with body armor. The Urbino Tactical stock is durable, easy to shoulder and will not slip. The Urbino Tactical stock is also comfortable, thus reducing operator fatigue, especially during prolonged training and qualification sessions. The urethane rubber grip is padded at the rear to reduce recoil impact against the web of the operator’s hand, and the optional Limbsaver buttpad substantially reduces felt recoil. The field-adjustable cheek riser was developed to provide superior cheek weld when using optics. The cheekpiece snaps onto rails molded into the sides of specially equipped Urbino stock armatures. In the event of optics failure, the cheek riser can be quickly removed or readjusted to a lower level. Specially-developed SureShell™ shotshell carriers can be fitted to the cheek riser (see page 16). While rail-equipped Urbino stocks can be used without the cheekpiece, cheek risers cannot be fitted to stocks that do not have the rails. All Urbino Tactical stocks include Benelli-style rear sling loops for 1¼ inch sling webbing. In addition, a hole at the lower rear of the stock accepts QD style sling swivels (not included). Urbino Tactical stocks can also be fitted with any of a variety of optional steel pocket sling mounts similar to those offered for our Remington telescoping stock adapters. Pocket sling loops, hook loops and push-button sling swivel mounts that fit securely between the Urbino stock and the shotgun receiver are listed on page 25. Urbino Tactical stocks for the Benelli M4 are available in black or coyote color. Urbino Tactical stocks for the Remington platform will be available in autumn, 2010. 23. I might pick one of these up too. Myself and many others have been waiting along time to get a nice milspec rail at a good price. The extra shell holder option is icing on the cake. I would reather get this than the Sidearmor super heavy monster rail system. This looks like alot better option than the Mesa Tactical side saddle but I still might get their Urbino stock with a cheek riser for a proper cheek weld with optics to go along with this new rail and shell holder.
  24. Yeah the c-stock is nice but Im not going to pay half of what I paid for my M4 to get one. The urbino also has an improved cheek riser over the c-stock. So now people with out the c-stock can have a nice cheek weld while using their expensive optics. Mesa Tactical was also producing an improved cheek riser as a replacement for the oem c-stock riser, after a few Marines had their faces sliced up by the original c-stock riser. They have made a few prototypes of a "skeletonized" non colapsable stock that look really promising, but it never went into production. SBS is sweet and I really want one, but but I would rather have more shells in the tube so I would have a funky looking SBS with an extended tube. Kind of defeats the purpose of an SBS.
  25. http://www.mesatactical.com/ Its in the new catalog. Base price $225 up to $320 for all the bells and whistles. They also have them for the M1/M2. I really like the shorter LOP. I might get these for both my M2 tactical and M4.
