  1. I see a lot of posts about a "stock" m4 only taking 4 rounds in the mag tube. Mine takes 5 2-3/4" shells. Do you have some sort of limiter in the tube?
  2. The stock you can fix yourself; you just have to rotate it level. As for the rest; yeah, people think because of the $$ that a M4 should come with a built-in auto-asswiper and coffee maker, but nice fluff-n-buff isn't much of a concern on a military-issue shotgun. Meeting spec is. If you don't like it, send it to me. I can use another.
  3. Detached from reality perhaps, but completely logical and reasonable. Lawyers and their money-grubbing have made reality illogical and unreasonable.
  4. Got 'er figured out. Many thanks to Texas Skeeter for the kind donation of his time and knowledge!
  5. Okay, hate to gravedig but I can't figure out how to get the collapsible buttstock on. I have a 3-position tube, but I don't need to do any turning to get it to go on or come off. I just keep the button depressed and it slides right on...and off. How do I install this so that it doesn't just slide right off if I keep the button depressed?
  6. I'm all for a guy buying the absolute best weaponry he can afford. But I also consider what it's going to cost to put it in the configuration I want, how much spare parts are, and what it costs to feed. Otherwise, I'd have a surplus 5-ton sitting in my driveway. And I do mean sitting, because I couldn't afford parts and fuel for the beast.
  7. Looks like you scratched the **** outta that receiver. Hope it wasn't an expensive gun....
  8. Why do people spend $1500 on a shotgun, then balk at a $200 mounting solution and go all bubba?
  9. That's why I asked; I'd like to have a full mag tube AND a collapsible stock, but come up one short on US parts since a collapsible stock counts as two imported parts. I thought maybe there was another US-made part out there I wasn't aware of. Thanks!
  10. I'm looking to replicate that setup, but have been trying to figure out how to get imported parts count down to 10 to comply with 922r. How did you do it, if I may ask?
  11. My Google-fu is weak; I can't find one anywhere. Any leads for one would be appreciated!
