Looks like Benelli's gone to 11606. It's not particularly easy to find anything for M3s...parts, accessories, info are all relatively scarce. Never understood why the M3 isn't more popular than it is. I've owned all the high-end "tactical" shotguns and still think the M3 is the best all-around gun. Only thing it lacks is accessory support...

Press the barrel up against anything, and that short recoil reciprocating barrel system won't work. I've had one fail just from leaning into it while the barrel rested on a barrier.

I haven't needed any communication for my orders; I pay for it, it shows up, and it fits and works.

It was a holiday, and it got cleaned up in short order. I think the mods did their jobs in a reasonable fashion. The only thing I find unreasonable here is an apparent expectation that the mods should put spending time with their families on hold just so some members don't have to look at some spam for a day or two...

The light mount is Southern engineered...I used a Toni System tactical barrel clamp with a pic rail section, then added a M-lok adapter. It's the best I could come up with to use M-lok. It places the switch right directly in front of my thumb, is pretty solid, and works, so I'm happy with it so far. The Scalarworks RMR mount gives me co-witness with the iron sights.

I mount a RMR in a Scalarworks mount, a 7-round Esstac card, and a Surefire M300V on my M3 and it works fine with 00B and slugs.

M3 never gets any love...

What's holding it in?

You can chop the barrel on a shotgun to less than 18" on a Form 5320.1 and associated hoops to jump through. And you can make a shotgun compliant with 922r with a certain number of domestic parts.

I've seen some bubba attempts to put a QD there on stocks up for sale. Apparently, it didn't work. My guess is a lack of structural support.

You might need to chamber the round with a more forceful forward stroke. Benellis are notorious for not fully locking. The hammer will drop, but no bang. Look at your extractor after you chamber a round...if it's not rotated up to about a 2-o'clock position, the bolt is not locked. You need a little more forceful forward stroke.

I just use a M300 Scout with 123A batteries. I hate rechargeables, too fickle in performance.

My M3 Tactical has no chokes.
