jan 1st is probably the default for birthdays when you sign up. most people dont post their real bday so they leave it at the default.... just my guess, i could be wrong

I was asking myself the same question 2 months ago. Spend the extra money and get the M4. You wont regret it.

Since we can only use slugs at the indoor range by me, I use Winchester Super-X slugs (high brass). They are cheap, accurate and I find they are a clean shooting round.

Do you have an aftermarket one to trade?

I just took a trip over to the local gun shop. I actually saw the Otis kits.... $49.99! .... I also saw a bottle of CLP was $14.99 ... cleaning a gun aint cheap!!!! Im gunna do a little shopping around on eBay and see what I can get a deal on. My hoppes kit will work fine in the meantime. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the advice! What brand of cleaning kits are you using? I bought a Hoppes universal kit for my ar15 and the rods and brushes are cheap. The rods bend easy and the metal bristles on the brush get warped easy. Are there any QUALITY kits out there?

I cant see why you wouldnt be able to swap barrels with a factory m4. Dont quote me on it but it seems logical theyd be interchangable.

The M1014 does not have threads in the barrel for choke tubes. Only the factory m4's had that.

Just made one yesterday out of a hot gluestick. I took a gluestick, cut it to size, and screwed it onto the retainer with a small sheet metal screw through the eye hole on the retainer. free + works!

do you have the original benelli fake extension? It looks like you replaced it with a +2 extension in the pic.

my buddy has an mr1... its the same sound as any m4/ar15 in my opinion. Sounds nothing like a 30-06!

The M1014 should only fit 4+1. I have an extended mag (+2) that I would be willing to straight trade for your stock mag tube. I also bought an M1014, but with an extended mag. In NY they aren't legal, so I'm willing to trade. It'll save you a few bucks and me a few headaches with the ATF in my area. It makes the M1014 6+1 using 3" shells or 7+1 using 2 3/4" shells.
