  1. Sorry for the strange formatting. Not sure why it came out that way! Seems to work fine when I respond.
  2. I've been shooting my SBE2 set up with deviation plate at SX, Locking plate at B-SX and drop shim at B. I'm a left-handed shooter and drop seems spot-on, but I've been noticing that I consistently shoot slightly to the right. I was wondering if I can change one of the cast shims to make an adjustment and am looking for advice as to what to make the change to. It is slightly to the right of bullseye at 30 yards no matter what choke tube is used. THX!
  3. Makes complete sense to me. Thanks. I know it sounds like a stupid question but as they say the only stupid question is the one you don't ask.
  4. Just curious about shotgun storage. I have an SBEII as well as a Stoeger M3500 and was curious if it matters if when you are storing your shotgun you store it with the action open or action closed. I can't seem to find anything on this on the web. Just thinking about spring tension compressed or relaxed. Any thoughts?

When putting the lights out on a wounded duck I noticed my first shot was considerably low as in I sprayed the water in front of the duck but didn't hit him. About 30 yards out. I've read several threads on the web that state the SBE II shoots high, but mine seems to be shooting low. I have the shim kit, but didn't want to upset the factory setting without a little advice from my fellow shooters. I'm guessing that I've been shooting under the birds. Could just be my aim ain't what it used to be!
  6. Can't go wrong with Cabela's. I just picked up some 600 gram thinsulate waders from them and am very happy with them. Start small with your decoys. I find that less is more. I carry a few mallards, few teal and a couple of confidence decoys such as coots. Guess it depends on your environment as to what will work with your area. Couple of calls that I use sparingly as I am not the champion caller. Don't go crazy with the calling as well. Good shells are a must. Just picked up some Remington Hypersonic-Steel shells in 3" #2 shot. 1,700-fps. Hope to see excellent results. I'd be interested if oth
