  1. HK P7M8 Browning Hi-power Both of the above usually fit women's hands very well; but the P7 is the better choice.
  2. Great news! If this batch is as large as the 1st batch and demand stays the same, that should be about 1 year's worth of hammers available now.
  3. Anyone care to wager that someday the ATF will claim that altering a 11721 M4 with American parts will make it contraband because it is converting it from an importable condition.
  4. if you put 922r parts on it I think you would be destroying its value
  5. If that is the case, then it seems that the simple solution to the 922r issue is just to send our Benelli fire control parts (and maybe the pistons) to ROBAR to be NP3'd. That way one has a "factory" Benelli which has be atoned into American made parts via a baptism of NP3. So sayeth the ATF?
  6. Given that it took about a year for 1 batch of hammers to be sold, its obvious why they told me they were not planning on making more. I'm just glad that your re-order quantity, and the recent run on the hammers, is apparently going to make them available again.
  7. I hate putting non factory parts on a firearm that has pass military trials; it just as a high risk of making the weapon more failure prone. Based on that, I prefer to change the more cosmetic items. Unfortunately, that is not always possible. In those cases, I choose the parts to replace based on the quality rep (and first adopter reports) of the replacement manufacturer/parts
  8. Why didn't you buy the Siaga?
  9. I suspect A LOT of people will be saying that in the near future
  10. Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead
  11. To close out this thread: The hammers have now gone bye-bye.
  12. The last available source for the Geissele M4 hammer is now out of stock. There is still hope that the recent surge in demand will trigger Geissele to eventually make at least one more batch, but don't count on it. I will wager that we will soon see some for sale on the parts boards, likely from people on this board who discourteously took advantage of my warning that Geissele was planning to stop making them.
  13. That would be a nice little reprieve; but when I just checked, it showed them out of stock
  14. Unobtanium. Thanks for clearing that up, the info should be a "sticky" in front of any sort of product review for the muck that rains down afterward. And you are right, I am not affiliated in any way with anyone; I just saw an opportunity to ask a question; and I got a straight answer, and got a lot of flack for sharing it.
  15. Trying to prove others wrong that they are wrong about me being wrong, and that makes me the only one who is trying to prove someone wrong, LOL. I only shared information, I have no desire to prove any one wrong, or right, but it seems that is not the case with everyone. I'm just glad people are getting the parts they are needing; I don't think the same can be said of everyone else. The question I have is what is the parts Mafia on this board that I seem to have stumbled into?
  16. joshua1240,Thanks for the insight. There is no "face" aspect on my part, in fact I'm not affiliated in any way with anything and have nothing to gain or lose. I will take disagreement about the source of the info; 'he' does know what 'he' is talking about. The information I provide is direct insight into what is going on; that's the reason I have stuck to my guns. What I don't understand is what there is to gain by proving it wrong (or right), that I would like to find out.
  17. So you admit there IS some sort of card game going on; the question is: exactly what kind of card game are you guys playing that I have stumbled into?
  18. So what is the subtext here, why all the hatred for sharing information? Some of you seem to have a very weird personal vested interest, is it some sort of Cabal I am unaware of? Or could it just be the fear of being stuck with no alternative to the FFT hammer ?
  19. Didn't anybody ever tell you bearing false witness is a no-no? The only thing I have said about the source was that they were "knowledgeable".
  20. And exactly how do you know that information provided to me did not come directly from G?
  21. The only "attitude" is the one you infer; I only desire to be helpful. I'm not sure why you can't follow the logic; but I will try to restate it. "Barbara" indicated there just is not enough demand for compliance parts, the hammer is a compliance part. Its that simple. Just be glad Brownell's still has them.
  22. Based on that, the same "homework" would tell them there is no need to make more hammers either. I suspect they will find there will be a great demand when the next "assault weapon" ban comes around.
  23. It certainly not impossible it was stated to increase demand, but it did NOT come across that way. And, one has to ask if demand is that great why did they opt out of the fire control parts too? Are you sure that 'Barbara' understood you were inquiring about a M4 shotgun and not a M4 carbine?
