1.

Ok , so I bought me Benelli Nova 8 weeks ago and probably put 600 rounds through it. I always clean and maintain my firearms obsessively. I pulled out my Nova to break it down and inspect it before taking it out shooting tomorrow. I noticed there is a decent sized hole in the back of the polymer frame where your trigger mechanism goes in where your bolt meets the Stock/Back of the trigger housing. the bolt hits right beneath the hole , Probably 1/16" of an inch. I took some pictures and tried to capture the problem area as best as I can. Hopefully someone can tell me if I need to send this to Benelli or if its normal and not to worry about it. Thanks Matt. 2. The most expensive one they make.
3. I think you might have a little trouble finding a 12ga 24" barrel (Vent rib/Field Barrel) You might keep finding 20ga 24" barrel (Youth barrel) or rifle sights on a turkey barrel or even a Fully rifled barrel. all of those options are not going to work. But you can very easily find a 26" barrel in the configuration that your looking for.
4. Yeah it really doesn't matter what barrel you decide to go with. You could shoot clays with a Taurus Judge if you wanted. I think trick shooting is irresponsible gun control. If you must preform tricks with your shotgun, I would ease into trying to shoot over your head or behind the back or something like that. Could blow your ass off.
5. I think the 26" is the way to go.
6. I don't know if this matters or not. But Tom Knapp isn't sponsored by Benelli anymore. He is now sponsored by CZ-USA , And uses the CZ-712 with 26" barrel with mag extension. And the CZ-712 is a phenomenal shotgun and retails for around 450-500.
7. Usually with a 24" barrel your not going to get the traditional "Field" Sights. You are probably going to get a high rise fiber optic front sight and possibly a rifle mid/rear sight. a 24" barrel is know as a Turkey barrel. Its not going to be your best bet for trick shots with clays.
8. If your talking about trick shots with sporting clays , It basically comes down to what you feel comfortable with. Your probably going to want an aftermarket extended skeet choke. which will extend the overall barrel length. I would suggest a 26" barrel unless you feel comfortable with a 28"+ barrel.
9. I don't personally (yet) , I'm ordering a 24" rifled cantilever barrel for my nova from badger. From all the great reviews on the web I feel confident that I'm making a good choice, Plus the price is right.
10. And whats this about ???? "Thank you for posting! Your post will not be visible until a moderator has approved it for posting." Just tried to post again and got this for the second time.
11. Well It happened again. I think I'm done buying firearms from Dealers and only buying from private parties. I went in to check out a new local gun shop, they have been in business for about 90 days. I basically went in to check it out and look around at the inventory. I had around 300 bucks on me and really didn't think I was going to find a "Great" deal. Well I was wrong. I finally found a Beretta 92fs Inox for the ridiculous low price of 400 + tax. (424.00) after tax. So I put down 200 and said that I was interested in using a older Russian single shot 12ga as partial payment when i came back to pick it up. So Monday rolled around (Today) and I went to go pick it up , filled out the normal FFL paperwork and 15 minutes later came backed "Delayed Status". That's twice in the last 6 weeks and makes a 3rd time overall. I'm beyond pissed at this point. I payed off the remaining balance and immediately call the NICS unit at the FBI branch. They said My social security number is suspicious of Fraudulent charges. Basically she said I could file for a Voluntary appeal form , And request a U-Pin Number so that supposedly doenst happen again. But I have to jump a bunch of hoops and then have my finger prints rolled at my local police station and then submit all of the information Via USPS. I'm not going to do that. I'm just only going to buy from private parties from now on. They can save the Bull!@#$ for some other sucker. Just wanted to vent how pissed I am. If anyone else has ever had a problem like this , let me know how you fixed it. Thanks
12. The Benelli Supernova's are drilled and tapped for scopes. (All SuperNova models). You might be better off Just picking up a Supernova with the Turkey barrel , and ordering a Fully Rifled barrel from Badger defense barrels. I attached a link for the Badger barrels. Hope this helps. http://www.badgerdefense.com/
13. Be prepared to spend between 1200 to 1700 depending on condition , and other things. good luck.
14. Bought off eBay and Doesn't fit Nova or SuperNova , If you were considering this lock , just pass. It wont fit. Hope this helps someone avoid making the same mistake I did.
15. That had absolutely nothing to do with his Problem/Question.
