I wouldn't expect benelli to change the bead... as they sell those parts aftermarket. But I WOULD expect them to correct the loose rib.
Sounds like something got lost from the customer service to the repair shop. Can you not replace the beads on carbon fiber ribs?
Is your shotgun like this from the vid?

I really like Vang Comp''s velco carrier. You'd just need to buy some self adhesive velcro loop (I think it's loop) and adhere that to the side of your receiver. Just but the "spare" or "extra" carriers from vang comp, or brownells. It's a nice light system!

I haven't lately... but never had problems in the past. I thought he was between runs so there is an expected (significant) delay

Following up on Stranger Danger's suggestion of a velcro side saddle.... I'd highly recommend buying the replacement carrier from VangComp and just putting some self adhesive loop on the side of your m4. To me it's the best mix of stiffness, hold on the shells, and easy of retrieval. But they are pricey at $20 a pop unless you get them from a reseller like brownell's with a coupon code.

I (will) have two. One I "made" by doing the NFA form 1 and buying a 14" barrel and a factory one that's in the process of getting the transfer stamp. I went for the entry models as I'm often in brush (Alaska) for field work and that extra 4.5" of barrel length does make a difference. Don't get me started on hand guns for bear defense (44 mag or hard cast 10mm at a MINIMUM). I carry bear spray as a first line, then my benelli for if that fails. I'd rather not dispatch a bear or moose if I don't have to.... If I'm not hunting one that is.

I just like sliding my finger across the safety to press and deactivate it as I prepare to fire... at least for my shotguns. It's just second nature for me now. Maybe if I trained with an AR style shotgun from the beginning...

A fool and his money are soon parted.
I vehemently disagree. I believe the AVA mount to be heads and above any other current solution... but I am willing to have my mind changed

I've been using by M4le for a local 3-gun shoot for about 5 mth's. love the functionality and Aesthetics of the rectangular one. By the way the one I ordered came with a pre-drilled Factory inner peace I would have never been able to drill the existing one I have. I have never had an operational issue with the rectangular style. Aesthetics, I think it's far superior looking to that round looking thing that appears to hang below the lower Edge of the receiver
I also prefer the GG&G bolt release.... at least aesthetically

Thinking about it... probably just the M4A1 if they've made them in enough numbers. Seems like a backorder status for a lot of the m4 versions right now.
They did rerelease the M1014 without the specialized serial numbers. I doubt we’ll see any kind of anniversary model - they aren’t Beretta! -
Anybody else have new information either way to present?
Nothing on my end... but it does seem like a fair amount of machining is needed for them.

Benelli themselves are coming out with a railed forend for the m4... I made a post about it a little bit ago with a pdf link from a german magazine. To me it seems like the best rail forend option so far...

Good news!
Sorry that it happened though

I doesn't hurt to ask. I've generally found being nice on the phone with reps helps out.

Bad solder job?
Hmm, I'd contact Benelli. In any case a gunsmith would need to resolder that ring back on
-
Hmm, are you inserting shells past the shell stop?
-
Yeah... you're mixing parts from a newer semi-auto and a pump to an older model semi-auto. This is going to be new ground you are breaking...
-
Fine fine
But they did have that 25th SBEII
-
Boards have been quite lately...just pondering this as I believe the m1014/m4 came out in 1999
-
I'll offer $140
-
Nope not at you John P. It's a very fair price for what you are offering.
I don’t really care, but I hope the price gouger comment wasn’t directed at me. The thing is like new and 20% less than what I paid new and includes shipping. You can’t even buy this new anymore. Jeez. -
Thanks for the info... I'll take a look at some options as most are geared towards clay shooters
-
Howdy,
Just curious what everyone uses to carry their stuff to the range / BLM land
-
Sure, with enough funds it's entirely possible

I'm fine with Toaster selling his item for whatever he deems appropriate...I mean it's his item. I'd certainly offer about half of asking if I was interested.
I have one new in bag lying around for my next m4...whenever that happens.
I just think we as a group could develop a replacement hammer that's as good, if not better, than what geissele made if there's interest. We could use S7 steel that's hardened to the high 50's and do an NP3 coating from ROBAR. With EMD the shop could stack many pieces vertically to make a bunch all in one go. I could even make a CAD file that would be quite accurate to what geissele used for their piece.

How is full disclosure "crapping on your" sales thread... with that attitude I'm happy you're out of the M4 world
