  1. I wouldn't expect benelli to change the bead... as they sell those parts aftermarket. But I WOULD expect them to correct the loose rib.

Sounds like something got lost from the customer service to the repair shop. Can you not replace the beads on carbon fiber ribs?

Is your shotgun like this from the vid?

  2. Following up on Stranger Danger's suggestion of a velcro side saddle.... I'd highly recommend buying the replacement carrier from VangComp and just putting some self adhesive loop on the side of your m4. To me it's the best mix of stiffness, hold on the shells, and easy of retrieval. But they are pricey at $20 a pop unless you get them from a reseller like brownell's with a coupon code.

  3. I (will) have two. One I "made" by doing the NFA form 1 and buying a 14" barrel and a factory one that's in the process of getting the transfer stamp. I went for the entry models as I'm often in brush (Alaska) for field work and that extra 4.5" of barrel length does make a difference. Don't get me started on hand guns for bear defense (44 mag or hard cast 10mm at a MINIMUM). I carry bear spray as a first line, then my benelli for if that fails. I'd rather not dispatch a bear or moose if I don't have to.... If I'm not hunting one that is.

  4. I've been using by M4le for a local 3-gun shoot for about 5 mth's. love the functionality and Aesthetics of the rectangular one. By the way the one I ordered came with a pre-drilled Factory inner peace I would have never been able to drill the existing one I have. I have never had an operational issue with the rectangular style. Aesthetics, I think it's far superior looking to that round looking thing that appears to hang below the lower Edge of the receiver

I also prefer the GG&G bolt release.... at least aesthetically

  5. I'm fine with Toaster selling his item for whatever he deems appropriate...I mean it's his item. I'd certainly offer about half of asking if I was interested.

I have one new in bag lying around for my next m4...whenever that happens.

I just think we as a group could develop a replacement hammer that's as good, if not better, than what geissele made if there's interest. We could use S7 steel that's hardened to the high 50's and do an NP3 coating from ROBAR. With EMD the shop could stack many pieces vertically to make a bunch all in one go. I could even make a CAD file that would be quite accurate to what geissele used for their piece.
