Yes, it’s not like the Benelli 5-pos recoil tubes.

I have a 2021 M1014. As I’ve never previously handled any other M4s, I don’t have a frame of reference. My Franchi Affinity and M2 were much smoother when new (even more so now). I guess I’d say my M1014 is “smooth enough”, definitely doesn’t feel gritty.

After watching a video, I was inspired to use a fanny pack loaded with loose 00 shells. So in addition to practicing loading from cards on my shotgun, I’ve started practicing with the fanny pack. I like it - it not only appeals to my ‘90s aesthetic but I embarrassingly still have a bunch of them. You can also just sling the pack over your neck/shoulder if you need to move quickly.

I reached out to the company making these tubes (not Todd) and he’s looking at adding additional positions but he says there just isn’t much space. He can add one position after the collapse position but it’s still very short. I’d think that would be useful when wearing thick clothing or gear. He’s looking at how to add a 5th position.

It’ll be interesting if you can get an OEM twist c-stock on that Sulun Tac-12.

If it works I’m assuming the recoil tube is compatible… following with interest.

How long was the wait? I placed my order 2 months ago. I wouldn’t mind jumping up.

I initially thought that then realized my intended use was indoors so little chance of occlusion. Went with a SRO and no regrets. Put the T2 on my pump which is used outdoors. No wrong answer as long as it fits the intended use.

Can you provide more detail on this? I've never heard of either until now... very interested.
