How do you like that muzzle brake/compensator? Worth the investment?

It's actually to install a Limbsaver on my collapsible stock following the (very helpful) instructions you put together. I'm fine with basic assembly and disassembly, but when it comes to stuff like drilling holes cleanly, I'm out of my depth.

Anyone here have a gunsmith recommendation for work on an M4 in the DFW area? There are plenty of competent gunsmiths here who work on ARs and handguns, but not sure many have familiarity with M4s or the like.

Just ran the following through mine today: PMC High Velocity 00 Buck Rio 00 Buck Fiocchi Exacta #4 Buck All ran well, but the Rio 00 Buck is a little long, so cant get 7 shells into the tube.

So, this is really interesting. I was curious about the Briley mount, but it just looks so incredibly heavy. This shotgun is already a beast, so I was wary of adding more weight.

Trying to pick the best light for my new M4. I was originally going to put one of my M600s on an IWC mount. However, this gun will be almost exclusively used for home defense. I've heard issues in terms of thumbs being jammed by the M600s due to recoil and was wondering if the shorter Mini Scout was the ticket. Dont know that you need more than 500 lumens for indoor use, but wanted to get the group's thoughts. Thank you!

Hello all. I recently purchased a new M4 with collapsible stock and extended mag tube. Primarily will be using this for fun and home defense/SHTF. Thus far, I've added a GG&G Oversized Bolt Release (stock one feels too small!) and an IWC Light Mount for a Surefire M600. My last planned modification is a side saddle and I've narrowed it to two options: Adding velcro and using shotgun cards (Esstac, SOE, etc.) Mesa Tactical 8 Round Side Saddle I was leaning towards the former approach, but wanted to get some additional advice. My main goals are reliability and the ability to reverse any modifications relatively easily. Any feedback is appreciated.
